I can't get to dicide which of this themes is better for my main website
the structures of the themes are similar, but the background and theme main color is diffrent.

Better maen more clicks on ads and better user experiance.
my ads is onlu pics, no txt ads.

first one:

main color is white and I think is more welcoming the user, but a lot of the ads are white therefor it's easy to ignore them.

second one:

the main color and the background is dark blue. how it will effect the user?

what do you think should get more CPM?

Jstover on here just did a survey or something to that effect and if i remember correctly orange was the best with red in a close second as far as getting attention and action to the site. I'll see if i can dig up the link...

Personally I think the first one looks better than the second.

As far as what "best" background color you should pick no one can really answer that question for you except your website's visitors.

So if there's some kind of action you want people taking on your website ie subscribing to a newsletter or filling out a specific survey you'll just have to split your traffic up evenly to multiple versions of your website with different background colors and evaluate the results after a while comparing which background color yielded the highest percentage of actions you were after.

Or in short, split-test some.

White/light coloured background are generally easier to read and look cleaner...

The human eye is used to books and magazines which get us used to the dark on light contrast for reading.

i would pick the first one as well. so neat and simple.
