how many adsense ads allowed?

Hi there-

i read somewhere that it is allowed to have 3 TEXT ads + 3 image ads from adsense on one page .

Is this really true? Just want to double check

3 ad blocks in total max on one page.

You are allowed 3 "ad blocks" on any given page whether they are text or images.

That is correct.

Any others will just be blocked by Adsense.

Only 3 Ads.
But I managed to get 4 working ads one time, 2 in html code and 2 from blogger's auto ad poster, that was really funny

you can also add 3 link ads

so not get confused

3 normal ads + 3 link ads

I'm pretty sure it is 2 link units.

does it matter if the ads are on your website before you start your backlinking/offsite work??and do you have to do a page description for each post/page, ie metadata, tags

not that is not true. there is maximum of 3 ads allowed per page from adsense

during the time that i have my adsense, i have manage to use up to 5 ad blocks in a single page. all of this are html formats 2 text link ads, 1 300x250, 1 468x60 and 1 wide skyscraper.

thats why im confuse why is it that it is only 3 ad blocks? i have tried to make a 6 ad blocks but only 5 are showing so thats why i have stick to it.

It is:

3 Ad Blocks

2 Text link units

Anything else will not show.

Text link units are not ad blocks and ad blocks are not text link units.
