INTRO:

I have been following IM for a couple of years now but I have never actually done anything until now.

I have a week off of work and I plan on setting up a couple of sites to experiment and learn by doing. I hope that this thread will be a source of inspiration and information for everyone.

GOALS:

I hope to establish a steady stream of income that will allow me to leave my job (or at least downgrade to a part-time job) and live a less stressful life while being able to spend more free time with my family.

I also hope to build a thread full of resources and information for people in my similar position.

PLAN:

I am starting with a EMD that I purchased. I will target 1 keyword at a time by writing articles, building back links, etc. and I will hopefully end up with first page rankings for 10 keywords in the same niche and eventually establishing a semi-authority site.

I also plan on building smaller micro niche sites that I will use to experiment with.

I will monetize my sites with AdSense, Amazon, and whatever other affiliates that I can find for my niches.

This thread would be great if we can get some veterans to come in and answer some questions or offer up advice and suggestions.
