First Account banned, new account questions
I got my first account banned due to invalid clicks. So like any other BHWer, I made another. That is where its gets tricky for me.
I created a new email, used a family members name, and the same address. The question i ask now is, can i use the same bank account that was connected to the banned account or should i start new?
I am also using the same hosting. Would that pose a problem? I would hate to build my new sites on the new account, reach the threshold, and then get slapped again.
Thoughts and experiences would greatly be appreciated!

Are you using the same domain name(s)?

Why not receive checks/paypal/alt payment instead?

Re: First Account banned, new account questions
i'm not an Adsense specialist, but if you ask me, you can't leave traces to your banned account if you want to sleep well at night, i wouldn't even use the same address twice, sure thing your {brother|sister|father|mother} can have an Adsense account too, but it's still a trace and i'm guessing they're not that dumb: they ban an account linked to an address, then soon they receive an application with the same address...plus you want to use the same bank account, in short: i wouldn't do that
what i would is applying for another account using "Adsense-virgin" details

Re: First Account banned, new account questions
Change the address you register under. You can still use the same websites as long as you change the registrant details of the site itself and the site is not what got you banned in the first place, in other words the site wasn't against Googles TOS.
Also change the bank account details as well. If using another families name and you want to get your payments sent via direct debt then I would suggest offering the family member some kind of remuneration for use of their account or opening a joint one with them but only have their name as the account holder when using it as the default bank account details for payments.
As mentioned above, you really want to be able to stop Google from tracking that the banned using is the one opening a new account.

Where were the invalid clicks coming from? Were you clicking on your own ads?

Re: First Account banned, new account questions
the same hosting would be ok, just don't use the same domain. and, don't use same bank account.

Re: First Account banned, new account questions
OK you cannot use the same domain. Even anytime in the future. There is a "flag" on that domain with Google. The moment you add that domain into your now account they will know. Don't chance it! You will loose.
From experience I was banned 2 times from Adsense, but now I am an active member for 4 years without issue. Never leave a paper trail to your banned accounts.

Re: First Account banned, new account questions
I've got my account banned as you, i just clicked my ad by accident (freeze on computer) ang got banned by week. I created another one with changed payee name with same adress. Threshold gone in few days and letter from jamaica from google arrived. But i havent already confirmed my account cause I'm scared - 130Euros in 1 month but all generic traffic (youtube <3) and clics. So just change payee name and don't use that domain.

It's dependent on the domain. If it was the domain that got a person banned then there is something about the domain which is against Googles TOS and needs to be put in line before it can be used again. If it is a site which directly goes against Googles TOS, ie gambling, porn etc then you shouldn't be using Adsense to monetize it anyways.
If you lose your account due to click fraud, then you can use the same domain but change the registrant details. This way it looks as if the site was sold to another entity and has no direct conflict with the banned persons.
Millions of websites are sold, brought and allowed to expire all the time, for Google to ban every single website on the internet which belonged to someone who was banned would be a huge waste of resources.

Re: First Account banned, new account questions
Safest bet, just like having multiple adsense accounts is that everything needs to be different. IP, name & address, EIN/SSN, bank account, and domains. Simple as that.

nope, you should let that account slide and apply for a new one with details you've never used before with Adsense, not just the personal infos, but you should use new IP and delete cookies/flash cookies as well
do it right=don't leave traces or else don't be surprised if the banhammer will hit again
