I have a couple adsense sites that I did a couple things yesterday with and my CPC shot up today, any experts have an idea what it could be. I was getting a bunch of clicks but they were between 23 and 50 cents and today it's between 75 cents and $2 where it should be.

I first added some new content and haven't in awhile on these sites, never heard that this helps CPC, so not sure.

About a week ago, I made my channels targetable to advertisers so maybe they're competing for it now.

I was also getting a message that I'm only using two ad blocks for the site and I should be using 3, so I changed that.

Or is that all the advertisers are getting over the Christmas shock and spending money again.

Just curious if anyone else experience this when changing things and what was it.

If your traffic is constant and CPC increase then I think your advertiser are paying more. Just disable the channel target for a day and share your result with us.
