So I was getting paid about a $1

I was at around a 1.3% CTR with around 15$ made

Now last night somebody clicked my adds about 40 times. The same person im assuming because I didn't earn anything for them

Now my CTR is 4% and im getting .30 per click?

Is there anything I can do about this or can people ruin your earnings that easily?

"Somebody" clicked ads? What somebody? How do you know it's one person? That's not normal user behavior. That means that someone was trying to mess up your site or your earnings (weird, but possible) or some kind of fraud you were running got messed up.

Either way, the Big G will not be pleased.

Well, either you can tell Google about it, or try to find the IP of the penetrator and block them out.

Make a statcounter account, its free and will help prevent any more click bombing. I suggest you submit an invalid click form, you can find the link in the G website.

Sorry to hear someone's trying to screw you over this way. I know google hates this type of thing. Not sure why someone would do something like this to be honest, unless you were trying to do this yourself. I doubt that, but google probably thinks that.

If your going to notify Google of what's happened, what until you've put in preventative measures to stop it from happening again. So many people shoot Google a notification of invalid clicks but don't actively try to prevent it from happening again and then get banned and wonder why.

Unless you actively show Google that you have taken preventative measures to stop it from happening, then there's a good chance they'll ban your account to protect their advertisers.
