traffic from youtube and adsense
Hey guys,
I am getting a lot of traffic to my site through youtube, some people would label what i do on youtube as spamming...
Can my adsense account get banned for this? The traffic from youtube is interested in the sites topic, because the videos are on the same topic.
Just want to be sure, because I dont want to lose my adsense account.

Re: traffic from youtube and adsense
You mean your putting your links in the comment section of YouTube videos? IF so it dependent on how your going about it. If your leaving valuable feed back then it's not spamming, but if your adding "Nice video http://youlink..com" then that can be constituted as spamming and people have the option of reporting it.
As far as losing your Adsense account, I've never heard of it happening and people spam links on forums all the time to drive traffic to websites which has their Adsense enabled. But just be mindful, you could always run the risk of having someone go to your site and clickbomb your ads if they think your spamming. This could definitely lead to losing your account.

To my knowledge your method is perfectly fine. As for clickbomb protection, that is very difficult. The trick is if you see the same person in the stats constantly clicking ads, it will probably be best to add an IP ban to them, but unfortunately it isn't that simple either as they usually do all the clicks in 1 go so by the time you find them, they've probably already done the damage. There may be a WP plugin or something around for it - have a search. Other than that, your best bet is try to explain to Google if you can get them.

There is a plugin which does restrict how often a single IP can click on an add. You have the option of putting intervals between clicks from 30 minutes to a day. Can't remember what it was called though sorry.

Re: traffic from youtube and adsense
the only way of preventing click bomb is having high volume of traffic
as your website gets more traffic your click bomb absorption rate will increase
