So guys, my situation atm is quite interesting.. i explained in an earlier thread that i made an adsense account last year and in which time it accumulated up until november.. £35. Prior to november it accumulated about £24 and then in november a sudden spike of £11. So i decided to take action on this and since the 5th of december when i took the action i have made some pretty ok money..
I've uploaded a screenshot of my performance since the 1st december up until last night..
This performance is off 1 video on youtube ( no blogs ) and from the 9th december i changed the adverts on my video to in-stream instead of overlay.
Its weird because between the 5th december and 9th my CPC was huge.. but my ads on that video had always been on overlay and not in stream..
so my question is.. what can i do to maximise my revenue from youtube? I've made more in this month since the 5th than i have done in 10 months alone, but i want to keep going...do i go back to over lay as i may get a higher CPC??
All you can do is test different things and then decide on one and go with it. Its a bit hit or miss with this but personally I would go with whatever gets more clicks as long term I believe that will maximise your earnings.
depends on how black hat you want to approach youtube for traffic. you could blast 100s of videos and point them to your main adsense site. search for cpa blaster or mass video blaster on here

I don't really want to approach it from a blackhat perspective, although I'm quite new to all of this blackhat/whitehat stuff so i have a lot to learn i think.

Hi, i'm not really sure what did - to be honest i haven't really been paying much attention to my CTR - is it something i should be focusing on?? The only thing i can think of is that i changed my ads on my video from overlay to in-stream...

Check your insight on your video manager page. Maybe the traffic started coming from different countries or different sources on that day.
I last uploaded one 5 months ago, it has about 55,000 views on the video. I have in total 4 videos, my oldest one which is about 12 months old has about 34,000 views but has matched third party content so i am no longer able to monetize it - is there a way i can monetize it or do i have no chance? it was matched third party content due to the song i was using on it..
Ahh ok, well i don't really pay attention to my CTR with it being youtube..the most they will be not he page for is 1 minute something anyway due to it being a minute and something video..
Is it a good idea to make a blog, post the video on a blog and drive visitors to the blog in the most whitehat method possible?
I got an email from youtube this morning re: two other videos i applied for monetization on saying they hadn't been successful and i needed to provide documentation.. FFS.
Is there any doc's i can show to make it fast or anyway to get around it?
