So I don't know if this has been covered before and I am positive I did not find this on here but I have a few ad placement tid bits that actually helped me start earning more money on my site and I am going to give you the information on how.

1) If you have a blog place 2 large square ads right next to each other under the title of the blog post and above the article.

2) Pick 2 types of ad format for the 2 large squares. On the left hand side place an image ad and on the right hand side place a text ad. This makes for less duplicate ads and better conversions.

3) Place text link ads such as the 5 in a row that all look like links without the description next to your navigation bar. I placed one of these next to my navigation a day or two ago and its been 50% of my total earned now.

Those are a few little things that people who aren't good with ad placement can use to improve their earnings in Adsense.
