Niche site - Posts, or Pages for articles?
Hi there,
I have a niche site I have set up a few months ago, that I have within a few days of SEO gotten to #5 on google. I want to push it to the top, but also want it to be a great authority site. My question is in regards to posting articles. I have been finding great articles on my subject and completely re-writing them so they are 100% unique and relevant.
I have been posting them as 'posts' on wordpress, using Clickbump theme. I am unsure if this is the best way to do this. I have posts being posted on a specific page, which I have named "Niche Articles". When you visit this page, my posts are listed, however the titles are not links. The only way to visit the post page itself is by clicking on "read more..." which I had to manually add the tag, or else it would put the entire posts on the page one after the other.
Instead of doing this, should I be creating new pages for my articles, and simply putting those links to the pages on my Articles Page? I am not putting adsense on until I am #1 or 2, but want my site to be user friendly as I want it to be a long term authority site.
Any thoughts regarding the article posts?

I highly recommend posts over pages, G loves fresh content and posts are automatically categorized. If you ask me you should stick to everything you're already doing.

Allright. I don't have any categories set up, I wouldn't know what to start with as far as they go, because my site is such a narrow niche.
Also, I feel if I just keep adding new articles, my site won't be user-friendly. Like I said, all the articles are posted on my Articles Page in the order of newest to oldest. Say I get up to 100 articles posted,, should I expect visitors to scroll down through 100 articles to find what they are looking for?
Also, how well do these 'posts' show up in google results compared to pages of my site?

If you post 100 articles yes the users have to scroll down to read also most of the search engine traffic comes by clicking on one your post link related to their search so you can add articles as post than pages because it looks crap when you add 100 pages for 100 articles

Posts for content. Pages for TOS, FAQ Section, Privacy, etc.

Yes better create a blog page for a specific category of articles so the reader stays focused on that niche if they need to surf and browse on more info related to that topic. Well if you create say 5 blog pages consisting of 20 article posts each page, then that would total 100 articles. It's just organizing your blogs in a categorized manner.

No need for categories or pages for your articles. Just have them list as "recent posts"
