One of my site is getting a 'fantastic' traffics increase.
The increasing traffics was started since maybe 3 hours ago.
And they are all coming from Yahoo, while usually it is from Google.
Never received any single traffics from yahoo before.

Of course I'm glad to have these traffics, but I'm started to worry about my adsense.

The CTR is around 8%, nothing really special about it.
However the earning from that site increases more then 400% so far.
I see the traffic stats are quite 'legit', however I still worry about competitor sabotage or something like that.
It is because according to Google kyword tools there is no way it will get traffics that much from Yahoo only from 1 single keyword.
I can 'accept' 200 visits/day from yahoo, but more then 400 in under 3 hours?

Anyway, here is the screenshoot of my traffics stats

It all comes from 1 single keyword where according to GKT it will never get that many traffics, from Yahoo, UK.

Quite legit in my opinion.

You should check your yahoo rankings. Maybe a few of your kw hit the top 3?

I forgot to mention that, yes, my site ranks #2 (from my IP) in yahoo UK
It wasn't on page 1 Yahoo before
It is #1 in Google UK for more then a year (for that keyword)
And it gets around 150/day visits from Google (UK) for that 1 keyword.

Anyway I'm still getting the same amount of traffic "activity" up to know.
More then additional 600 UV since 3 or 4 hours ago.
Almost all from Yahoo.
And the IP are still varies, almost no identical IP, similar ISP, yes.

Do people in UK use Yahoo more instead of google?
Even if it is, will the difference really that much?

Adsense CTR is at 7.4% right now and the site generates $25 so far, and keeps growing.
Usually it only generates around 3-4$/day.
It's really just a small-medium niche site, nothing special.

Anyway you should be calm and quit about that.

If you're really worried, we can trade websites.

If the traffic is legit, not spam or anything, then you should be ok. Just enjoy the ride

Dont have to worry your CTR is not too high .

Maybe there has been a story about your niche in the UK TV. That happened to me once. I got crazy hits that day.
