I started internet marketing beginning of the 2009 and I saw the results middle of the 2010. After that I didn't have to go back, my entire biz on big G. Most of guys here hates big "G" but I love em more thn me.
oky so let me start, I am an adsense premium publisher, lots of people knows what does that mean. If anyone one has any question about adsense ask me I will try to answer but that has be related to white hat adsense, if you are a black hat adsenser please stay away from this thread

My first question is which word press theme you suggest for wp users based on your experience. Also, what niches you think tends to do well for adsense.

Do you have any news sites? If yes, what is their CTR?
Is your work based on micro niche sites? Or large sites that brings lots of traffic.
If i am correct, in order to be a premium publisher, you need to have at least 20,000,000 views per month. Is that correct?

I use thesis theme on most of my sites which is custom made. About the niche you can go any niche you just need traffic.

No I don't own any news site, and no I don't any micro niche either. I own 1 big site and 2 semi big Yes you are right in order to get the premium account you have send 20millions or more per month for 6 to 8 month after that they will contact you.

I answer yours first 3 question on above.
I outsource people to build back link and yes white hat.
My entire biz is now outsourced cause since I started making good amount $ I got mad lazy lol. Find good people who is really interested to work.
Well now do not worry about premium just get traffic and build sites.

CTR around 2 to 3% once again depends on the time, for ex it go high before any holiday. And cpc is 30c to 50c.

DC = duplicate content you mean I guess, well I don't post any duplicate content so I don't have to worry about this.
everyday once or twice.
I hire one guy who did it for me.
The big one is entertainment niche and the other two is tech.

A lot such as I can contact them anytime via phone or email. I have a dedicated manger who is always help me. If I need any special feature they help me out with this and yes I can edit the css to make the ads looks nice. The last thing is I won't get banned directly or by bot. Even If I do shady stuff they will warn me but I won't do shady stuff lol.

White hat link building means build links slowly and relevant to the niche, most of the time your visitor build those links.

Have you ever had any success with a large site targeting many keywords, with ten articles of unique useful content for each niche like so:

If you haven't tried that, what is your opinion of a site like that? It's the route I'm going down so I can target many low competition niches without creating a small site for each.

Yes, I do my site categories are sub-keywords, I don't do many sites cause more sites mean more headache

the big one has around 5k pages, and all of them indexed and ranking for some long tail keywords.
yes, in the beginning I did used xr, and sb but I learn on thing sb links are really bad. After I stop using those tools and went to straight whitehat .

Are they OK with viral websites getting 99% of the traffic from facebook? There isn't much content on the website, the main stuff in between the pages (people are loving this and promoting my site) and 3 ad blocks giving CTR of 5%.

I think MNS targetted at very specific keywords are a good way of making quick money, but I do think that the real long term money is in big authority sites.

Not many people have them, and those that do, don't really talk about them. So, once again, thank you for shedding some light on this topic.

My question though, is more around infrastructure. How many, and how big are the servers you are running your sites on? Entertainment (in particular), and tech are bound to be image rich ... what sort of bandwidth do you chew through per month.

Just had another question ... I take it your sites are bookmarkable? What percentage of traffic is direct, search engine, social networks?

The server cost for entertainment site is $400, it has 10TB BW. and other two on another server which is same so the server cost total is $800
25% direct, 50% from search, and rest of them from social stuff which is 25%.

also i have been very confused by tags. How many tags u use per post (i guess u r using wp ?)..do u think it is a wise thing to stuff 10-15 tags per post or 4-5 are enuf ?

i have seen guyz telling me to restrict tag and category pages to prevent them from indexing coz of dup content issues..do u follow this ?

TMZ.com average 7 million uniques per month and 2 pageviews per unique. Global rank on Alexa of 337 and U.S. rank of 88.

I highly doubt someone who is self proclaimed "lazy" and outsourcing articles is anywhere near the range of pageviews as these two sites which employ full time professional staff to write for them. And those sites have been around for years.

yes, everything is outsourced right now, the only tools i use is copyscape.
I wouldn't suggest you to use any spinner, try to write unique contents.
You can find some good write from FL, Odesk etc. There are lots of native english speaker woman looking for contents writing jobs.
They are good and reliable
