Hi,

This is the story of mine that happened a few days ago.

Adsense has sent me my 200$ check trough DHL on 27.07.2011. On 28.07.2011 I received a notification mail that my payment has been sent. On 29.07.2011 I received an email that my adsense account is banned and that I wont get my payment (there's a logical reason for the ban).

I wrote them a big in detail email reply and I appologized for what i've been doing, since I haven't done much damage, (arround 100$). And i asked them to reconsider my account status, since i've had it for 3 years. I'm kinda connected to that specific account (i see the history of my adsense beginings ). I haven't received mail about my account yet, but today I received my check, which looked pretty strange to me, but okay.

My question is, will I be able to exchange the check ? Will the bank be able to exchange my check and transfer my fundings to my bank account ?
Has anyone had such experience.

go on ,, if your bank do not get you the payment,,, the check will get bounced,, and google will have to pay money per bounced check,, go on bouncing the check untill they block that specific check no. enjoy

Happened to me 1 year ago,I think I joined BHW finding for that solution only
Eventually even after my account was banned I recieved and encashed my check (which was sent before account ban) and got money in my bank.

I had a similar experience..But, I could not cash the check, it bounced and a small bounce fee got deducted from my bank account...

You could give it a try though...

why wud your bank fee deduct a bounce fee? you didn issue the cheque, you shouldn be charged a bounce fee

a bounce fee is normally charged when you issue a cheque to someone, and when that someone goes to a bank to cash it in, if there is no money in your bank then you will be charged a bounce fee - atleast this is what my understanding is.

Encash the check before it is blocked, I was in a similar situation couple of years ago, got my check and a/c was banned, but fortunately en-cashed the money the very next day

It will get blocked. Sorry to say, but well...
Been there, done that.

Send it anyways, who cares, but spend the time in between waiting on something else asap, what to say..
