So, I have been looking to do some shopping on flippa. I have noticed there are many Adsense sites on there that claim to make good money. For example, many of the sites claim to make $800 to $1200 a month.

But after looking at all these sites and details about them, they all seem to follow the same pattern.

1. Non of them are google verified
2. The "site established" date is always 1 month old from the current date
3. When you contact the owners and ask how they drive traffic, they all say the same thing. They drive traffic with social bookmarking.

Are these site legit or a scam? Anybody have any experience with these on Flippa?

Most are scams... I buy sites all the times and I verify everything first.

Can you explain us how did you do ?

Why not you check alexa for their traffic source or there are so many website like SEMrush, Majesticseo can give you some details for those website.

So say I use SEMrush and there is no data that comes up, would that mean its a scam?

If the seller does not go in-depth with how he is ranking, post proofs, etc. then it is most likely blackhat and not worth buying.

You must analyze anything before you buy.. Thats the secret mate.. I have been selling on flippa and i put all my earnings, proof when selling them..

There are good sellers in flippa regardless there are scammers too. Analyze properly on the site before you buy anything..

Yes there are (too)many sites that are made for high adsense earning in their first month and a possibly ban/drop in views in the next ones.

always ask for proofs and if the traffic comes from social bookmarking its most likely a scam

Hi.
Traffic claims are difficult to assess without verified Google Analytics. Even if analytics reports were available, it may be difficult to be confident about traffic on a 1 month old site given the short history. I'd be more interested in confirming the revenue claims. Suggest requesting a phone call with the seller and ultimately a screencast walk-through of their adsense account to verify claims.

The best thing to do is to teamviewer into the sellers computer with him/her and check everything via that.

If they refuse then stay away

they are not legit

There are a lot of established IM'ers cruising flippa so if a listed site that looks prime isn't getting or only has a few bids and seems undervalued then it has likely set off red flags. I'd stay away.

Blckhat methods are always out there.. Internet is FULL.. I mean full of course everything from good to bad = FULL! The same methods as blackhat techniques, they created massive account of flippa maybe 100 to 1000 accounts (members account)

Example: one member sell only a one dot com website and his another second account sell a dot net website and his 3rd account sell a dot info website but if you notice these websites are mostly 50% exactly the same as a dot com site and he offers a different prizes from higher to lower. And those websites are mostly new created website with no traffic at all or some of them has a huge traffic as they mentioned that those traffic are from social network only ( a big lie) and even if you tried to search on google we cannot find them or even searching their traffic sources through alexa and the results are no enough data..

These kinds of sites are scams and mostly doing some blckhat tecniques and it's really hard to rank for all search engines.
Not worth of buying these kinds of offers and stay away from them.

The best thing to do is check out their Google Analytics
and see if what they're claiming matches what GA is claiming.
But, yeah you're correct, lately Flippa listings have been nothing
but false claims and bizarre auctions wins/losses.

There are lots of legit sites on flippa. You should learn to check them for scam bells.

I'm selling one right now, completely white hat and legit adsense site. It's little bit above 3K already.
