I've been searching through this sub forum to check out if there is an answer to this and found out that people ARE using wordpress with adsense.

I intended to ask if this is ok by wordpress/adsense policies.

So, is it ok to insert google adsense on wp blog?

Also, a bit of an offtopic: where does wp stand for adult blogs? Is that ok with their policies?

This made me laugh as MOST people use Wordpress blogs with Adsense on them and have been doing so for years!

well... most people do a lot of stuff that aren't allowed

no, really, i actually would like to hear direct answer... this IS a blackhatworld . maybe ppl are doing what they like and what pays out

There is absolutely nothing illegal about putting Adsense ads on Wordpress blogs. Never has been.

Oh yes! It is perfectly fine to insert Google adsence with wordpress. Wordpress is a great place nothing to worry about!

wordpress should be used with ANY type of site. the support you get with such a large community and large developer base is second to none. there are just so many plugins themes content and other useful stuff. not to mention wp is just wicked super easy to deploy, use, maintain, and work with. wordpress is the new de facto standard in my opinion for websites. ALL of my sites except one are powered by WP

You can insert adsense into any type of blog/cms/website as long as your website follows their TOS.

Wordpress is the best blogging software for Adsense.

I'm also a newbie with this kind of stuff but If you are referring to free WP blog I guess they will not allow you unless you subscribe to their vip thing which will allow their users to have an Ad Control. (again I'm a newbie and please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

According to wp support:

"Adsense, Yahoo, Chitika, TextLinkAds and other ads are not allowed on free WordPress blogs. If you would like to run ads on your blog, one of these options may work for you:"

Just google "adsense not allowed on wordpress" if that's what you're looking for.
