Is Adsense playing me?
Hey mates, im not a big fan of adsense, just earning residual income from it. Recently, i've noticed that my earnings go down with more click i get?! I mean wth. Let me give you guys an example
I logged in my acc and saw i got 1 click at 0.2$ so i earned 20cents from that click. But later, i logged in again it has got to like 7 clicks and my earnings become 0.08$? wtf is this? i only experienced this recently, could it be invalid clicks or is there somebody trying to rip me off ?

Re: Is Adsense playing me?
It may be due to the time of the day (just guessing). For example, when I set up an adwords campaign for a client they will often want the ads to run in the morning but not in the late afternoon. I wouldn't be surprised if the cpc varied throughout the day which would affect your payout.

Re: Is Adsense playing me?
The number of ads also can contribute to this. Maybe just a low paying ad was clicked. I had this and changed one ad to a CJ skyscraper and the CPC went up to around .40 with nothing lower than a .30.

Re: Is Adsense playing me?
Yeah some ads pay low. I have gotten 2 cent clicks on the same site that gets $5 clicks. Adsense is like a box of chocolates. You never know what your gonna get.

pretty normal results
it depends on the ad they clicked on

Re: Is Adsense playing me?
Adsense earnings you can see are estimated, it means it's not final number. It can change during the day, according to how google evaluates your clicks.

Ahh, pretty crappy. I mean if you had 1 click that got you 2$ and later when more clicks come in your earnings become 1$ or maybe lower, does that makes sense? Cos that's what happening to me now

Re: Is Adsense playing me?
Adsense clicks vary widely, and it is hard to say what is going on with your clicks.
I wasn't making hardly anything for a few days, and then one day I made a whole lot of money. After that day, it went back to hardly anything.
It is virtually impossible for someone to know why this is happening to your clicks. With adsense, you just have to target high paying keywords and roll with it.

Re: Is Adsense playing me?
I have a problem with Adsense as well just a different problem..
I started my account around 3 months ago, I have close to $250 in my account that needs to be paid out and I have not received my letter with a pin to verify my account. I have asked for a re-send twice, and if I do it one more time my account will be deleted and I lose the $$$..
Has anyone else experienced this, or is this just me?

Re: Is Adsense playing me?
It is not uncommon for adsense to forfeit earnings for clicks they deem not valid. Nothing unusual happened to you.

Re: Is Adsense playing me?
You should target higher paying keywords and you will get higher paying clicks. The competition is tougher though.
Good luck

Re: Is Adsense playing me?
Adsense is acting nuts these days. My $10 a day became $1.88. Google's explanation below.

Re: Is Adsense playing me?
3 reasons:
1)The ad that was clicked was a lower paying ad
2)The user who clicked the ad was from a lower paying country
3)It was the same user who clicked a different ad
Wait Until The Google June / July Update...

Re: Is Adsense playing me?
I've been seeing the same thing. Last night when I checked my account, I had a few bucks for the day. This morning when I logged in it showed I had made almost 60% less for the day yesterday than it had shown yesterday.
