Hello Everybody.

I want to take action and make money but I AM STUCK. Argh how irritating is
it when you lose DAYS just because of simple start-up problems.


I already have: a domain, keywords, hosting, knowledge in SEO, ads*nse
account, cpa accounts, I know the right plug-ins, backlinks strategies. etc


But now I don't know how to actually make the website! I use wordpress (yes
it should be easy) but I fail in making my website.


Ok, I have a nice looking free theme from woothemes, how do I edit it? It
looks nice but doesn't contain my requirements. I have dowloaded
dreamweaver but I don't know how to use that either.

Believe me, I've spend hours and hours or reading and trying but please give
me advice how to build a decent website for adsense. (a short guide for
dreamweaver or what you use yourself or what theme needs no editing)


And no, I'm not hiring a freelancer to build my site because I want to know
how to build a website also for later websites.

If you are a real newb then you should just download and install a theme and not try editing it. WordPress Theme Development is nothing you can learn in some hours/days.

Wordpress is pretty easy to use when you know what you're looking for. Most of the theme can be edited by clicking Appearance > Editor then the page you want to edit.

Beyond that, you need to know what you're trying to edit.

So, dreamweaver isn't going to get my perfect theme? Then I should take an already good theme or ctr-theme..

If you are using chrome, and you want to edit something, here's how I got started learning the basics, right click on what you want to edit, and then click inspect element. This will pop up a bunch of code and things you can mess with. Here you can play around with changing the look of your site without messing up the actual theme. This will help you get an idea of what controls what in the theme. From there play around and experiment and it will really help you out. There are also some nice tutorials out there, I like the Lynda Series on wordpress, that's cool too(you can easily find the torrent) hope that helps!

Use Notepad and Photoshop. Change whatever you want in Photoshop, and code it in Notepad.
