If you ever get manually reviewed, you'll get banned. Not a matter of if, but when. Doesn't matter how "unique" you say your content is; if they even get a whiff of MFA then it's goodbye.

I am new at this. The posts here suggests that there is something wrong with this site. can Some one explain exactly why?

Any idea what theme is this?

Really useful links. Thanks.
I dont know when did you look at but it is not a click bump . it is obviously seen from the source code /themes/alibi/ ..
I was using personally click bump 3.5 and 3.6 , they look like prosense theme (=The very first site shared in this thread=it is a narrow version of prosense theme)
Here is the what look like a click bump theme with different skins :
I dont have enough rights to upload photo here but paste this in your browser with http and www before it :
Code:clickbump.com/wp-content/uploads/engine-upload.jpg

Since someone already posted fridge*freezers*best*prices.org here and exposed it to the world of IM, why not do some analysis on it and see what "we" can learn.
Let's dump the keyword "fridge freezers best prices" into Google's keyword tool and see what it gets for traffic.
OK, says it gets 12,000 GLOBAL searches on broad. I bet that number is what attracted this person to this keyword in the first place. "fridge" seems a term used more in the U.K., so this makes sense. Now let's take a look at the EXACT number:
Suck. 12 for global and basically none for Local (U.S) This is what I'd expect for such a long tail keyword. Personally, I would'nt have made this site. Let's move on..
Where I'm sitting it's ranked #3 for the keyword "fridge freezer best prices" on Google. Let's see how many back links it has:
http://goo.gl/0Uc7e
367. Pretty good. How'd he get some many links? Take a close look: spammy blog comments. Most likely he ran Scrapebox for a couple of days. Interesting to note that this still didn't get him to #1 for such an obscure longtail keyword.
The site itself
Notice they matched the keyword to the domain. Perfect. Notice he didn't use and hyphens or an .info.
Where did he content come from? Let's take the first sentence and throw that into Google:
http://goo.gl/f9SFQ
Copied straight off of Amazon and duplicated on MANY sites. Anyone worried about duplicate content "penalty?" Not here. He's ranking just fine. The thing I'd be concerned about is how many people would actually buy a fridge online? (Even a small one) Not likely, but who cares. As long as you get your viewers to just GO to Amazon with your cookie, you'll get a commission on ANYTHING they buy for the next 24 hours, even if it's not a fridge. Imagine if you built a site like this for something you'd actually buy online.
But notice what's missing - there's no adsense on the site. Believe me, you WOULD be making money with adsense here, but the content sucks, it's all copied EXACTLY. If you got a manual review from Google, they'd kick you in the balls real fast.
But how long do you think it takes to make a site like this? It's do a wordpress install and copy and paste a short paragraph from Amazon five times. 1 hour including registering the domain?
Overall I'd say they're not getting much traffic and even less product sales. Still, some idiot MIGHT buy a small fridge online and certainly somebody will buy something else off of your Amazon cookie. Not a lot of time or money spent but over the course of a year you should make SOMETHING.

Here's the 4 slice toaster siteThe theme is very simple so I think if Google did a manual review they would ban it before they read a single sentence lolCode:http://www.4slicetoaster.co/
Anyone know what the theme is called?

Code your own theme in HTML or if you insist on WordPress, then buy CTR theme or something.
what would you guys recommend as good plugins for a micro niche site?

You'll get straight up banned from adsense with that site, you can't blend the ads into your template completely like that.
Scrapebox'n - Waiting for Post 500 to Share a Method
This template looks very simple
I like how it doesn't show who negged me. If you look into google TOS for adsense. blending in ad units to completely look like the webpage is covered, and is deemed deceitful. A manual review of the website would get you a nice email from account services at the very least, and possible an infraction/ban on the account

thanks for this site to checkj!!
Buying traffic is definitely dangerous, and i wouldn't recommend it at all.
If your CTR is high but you got genuine traffic, then you dont need to worry
a thing. Just make sure you got quality traffic by putting a content which
make the visitors happy or helpful. That's definitely the best way to go.

People who still think these types of sites work need a wake up call. Googles latest update has put Googles best interests at heart. If you do a search on the keyword in the URL you'll see what I mean by the search results.
1. Paid advertises.
2. Related searches.
3. Google shopping.
4. Organic results last.
The days of making money through ecommerce sites just got alot harder on Google. If Google have it their way they'll dominate all the search queries which they can monetize themselves. Google is slowly losing it's origins of being solely a search engine with users interests foremost.

As a consumer, when I hit a site like that I immediately click "back". There isn't any useful information and why would I click on a link?
Very useful thread here. It's pretty rare to see examples and analysis of these types of sites, so thanks from a noob.

Any comment about this template?

I can see not getting banned by using this method if you never get a manual review, but this is really walking a tightrope IMO. It's not because of the content, but I'm quite sure the way the ad links and the navigation links are seamlessly blended is very much against adsense TOS.
some of those sites without adsense might be using another "unseen" method to make money since the sites are focused on a single product category,,,,,
think Oreo's
And years ago a true MFA site had more adsense ads than text.
The only text at all was laid out at the top,, center and bottom.
So you saw a page with nothing but:
KEYWORD
ADSENSE
KEYWORD
ADSENSE
KEYWORD
ADSENSE
Three keywords and nothing else but adsense,, hence the name MADE FOR ADSENSE
(kind of funny actually)
and people made fortunes using that method.

I see nothing wrong with those template style websites.
They look like the work of a beginning web designer but they do provide information to the viewer.
However it now appears that google is banning sites that are not as slick and professional as Amazon, Apple, Credit.com.
Nowdays people are working adsense with expensive templates, and paying for unique content, and thousands of backlinks.
Those sites are an expensive undertaking and they should be making affiliate money, as well as building a mailing list, making adsense the last of their priorities.

as i am noob about adsense it will be usefull for me

I think that would explain the low CTR's. I mean if you're only getting 1-5% of people clicking on Google Ads to start with it's more of a quantity game. You just have to make more sites. Some people have 1 site that's just jam packed full of content or have a killer layout that gets 30% CTR good for them. Majority of people have a hard time just getting someone to click and ad, much less buy something. It's a numbers game.
Thanks for breaking this site down and letting people who are trying to learn the pros and cons of making a site like this. Now I have specific examples of what to do and NOT to do when making my site. Sure it'll be some obscure topic like "toe nail clippers" or something, but now I know to make it toenailclippers.com. I wish we had more stuff like this on BHW. Getting analytical about stuff like this may increase competition, but only for those who want to learn and DO SOMETHING with the information.
Post like this give me so much confidence that pretty much any topic I throw out there with 100% effort is going to make something. Thanks for posting that up.
Thanks alot! this was EXACTLY what i was looking for!!!

The ansxers of biks and kokoloko75 is where you can learn a lot of stuff! You don't often come across spoon/picture fed posts! Lately this forum seems to be dying and full of nonsense posts.
Seems a simple theme , and has good adsense placements
Must have Good CTR too
hey guys, im currently creating my first micro adsense niche, but have a question
im only going to post about 3 or 4 articles. Should I make posts or pages?
Do pages rank better in google?
there have no inner pages.. !!! ??
that page is horrible.they need soo much of onsite optimizations.
