Default Is Anyone Earning with Adsense?

As a newbie I hope you guys dont come down too hard on me! I'm thinking of setting up some sites for Adsense but wondered if it was worth my while. Is there reasonable money to be made with it? Can anyone give any examples of what they earn from it? Thanks in advance

Sure, it's obviously a viable moneymaker as people are still making nice change with it. It's trial and error just as any other avenue though. And some days will be better than the next, but it's best to set up more sites so that making a lousey 25c a day off one will not be all so bad cause you have like 100 more that will make more or less off of them....so as you see, the numbers game....just got to make the numbers work for you. I have a gamesite that I do not promote, do not touch, do nothing at all with it and it will make me anywhere btwn 5c-$1.25 a day...some days nothing at all......find a niche that people are wanting and roll with it....

    1. Browse your daily website/blogs, and check their Alexa rank. The lower, the better.
    2. Find out their niche(s).
    3. Install wordpress and a auto poster.
    4. Search Google for niche rss feeds. Put the rss feeds into the wp autoposter.
    5. Make permalinks only %post%
    6. Run the blog, get indexed, move to another niche.

Can you please guide me with the autoposter thing? Is it a free plugin? & do pages get indexed with this technique as these are counted as duplicated content :s

I have one auto-blog that I set up about a month ago. I set it up and then just let it run on auto. I am just now seeing the fruits of it. I am averaging $1/day off it [usually more]. Now that I know it's a good niche, I could work on it to make it better. That would be my advice if you are going the blog route as far as testing the waters go. It's the easiest route. I use the unique article wizard plugin for WP [it's free] and have it posting 1-5 posts a day. I don't let it over do it, but just enough to keep it always updated.

My Adsense sites are still bringing me a few thousands each month. They target specific niches.

Most of them are whitehat and what I really like about them is the auto-pilot fonction. I would say that I spend a max of 1 hour/month/site (some even less). But of course, initially, it was a lot of work, but not I am getting a great ROI.

The things to remember about Ad Sense are:
    1) Make sure content on page and on adsense ads are relevant to each other.
    2) You need lots and lots of pages to make money (Automate this if you can)
    3) Put Ads in the pages hot zones
    4) Get to 1st page of google for you target niche if you can't then forget about that niche
    5) Never use image ads

Adsenes = LAME, don't do adsense for the effort you can make so much more money affiliate marketing, plus adsense likes to ban people for no apparent reason!

Image ads take up more of your pages "real estate" and tend to pay less per click. Not to mention they get clicked on a lot less

I only go for high competitive sectors for adsense. I get a eCpM of more than 40$ (about 1$ CpC) with some whitehat car-insurance sites in addition to affiliate money. Its quite easy making 5-10$ a day per site with low, good and valid seo-traffic.

Also a tipp: Try very colorful adsense color themes with orange, yellow and strong contrasts. They look horrible, but they are good for CTR.

With non-competitive sites, I get traffic easier, but I hate to see coming in those 0,06$-0,20$ Clicks via Adsense.

When you get bad traffic, I would not use adsense. Its a blackbox, you never know what the algorithm considers spam (IPs, very high or low CTR, country diversity, duration on site, referer...etc).

Default Re: Is Anyone Earning with Adsense?

I make over 1k per month from adsense with just one whitehat website that I rarely touch anymore. The problem with adsense, and any other method for that matter, is that everyone wants instant overnight success. Unless you're doing something that is going to get your adsense account banned, expect a slow, but gradual growth with lots of ups and downs in the income.

I know that this isn't what you want to hear, but if you want a stable, long-term, dependable, make money while you sleep income from adsense, then try the following (it isn't anything new, it just works):

    1. Find a crowded niche that has lots of searches and lots of adwords ads when you Google the keyword. It doesn't matter that there are thousands of other websites in the niche if it is large enough. There will literally be thousands of untouched long-tail keywords that you can exploit and provide useful information for searchers.

    2. Create web pages that have actual, useful information, about 200 - 500 words per page and place a large 336 X 280 large rectangle adsense block at the top of the page

    3. Write enough articles to submit at least one article per week for a year to EzineArticles and other article websites with links back to your website in the article resource box

    4. Don't copy and paste PLR shit unless you completely rewrite it, otherwise you are almost guaranteed to be wasting your time. Most PLR is crap anyway and I rarely bother with it.

    5. Keep researching and posting new web pages that have real, usable information for users. If you don't, Google and web visitors will figure out that your website is just another piece of worthless shit clogging web space

    6. Learn to SEO your web pages so Google, MSN, and Yahoo will know what they are about

    7. Have a lot of patience. The income will grow gradually and steadily if you will provide quality information and get some backlinks

    8. Don't trash up your website with lots of shitty CPA offers and other affiliate programs. Keep the pages clean and focused and you'll get a better click through rate

    9. Build another website the same way

Adsense is the easiest, no-brainer way to make a long-term stable income online, but not if you try to short cut the process. The problem is that most people want to cut and paste worthless PLR crap, or business-in-a-box garbage websites, and then are upset when they don't make any money.

Hey, I told you that you wouldn't like it. There is lots of work involved before you see a significant income, but the money will come if you do the work and provide real information. It is white hat and you aren't going to get banned by Google if you don't screw up by thinking you're going to outsmart them.

Yes, you can make good money from adsense if you are willing to treat it as a long-term business and provide good value to your website visitors. The catch is that someone is going to have to do some serious work today in order to reap the benefits that are there for years to come.

Great advice its slow but it works taken me three years to put up over 240 websites but beginning to see the benefits of building adsense websites with original content that offers the searcher a quailty search experience which is exactly what google wants for its customers.

They may pay by the end of every month but will your account still be unbanned by the end of the month is the real question.

Adsense is as good as the websites you put it on. The better the content, the better the traffic and the better the revenue. There is still a lot of money to be made with Adsense but as stated earlier, it's not a get rich overnight project. It takes time and patience but does pay off in the end. I'm not retiring on Adsense income but it's consistent.

Adsense will take care of the relativity, you just need to have content on the page for the subject you are wanting to target. G is actually pretty good at matching ads to you content if the content is relevent to begin with...

Can someone please tell me how does G look at the following situation:
Say you have 30+ websites/blogs (with OKish content which you use for link building), and use the same Adsense account on all of them.

It would be logical that G than knows that all these websites belong to one company/person.
In that case what is the purpose of using different C Class IPs for these websites or paying extra for private domain registrations?

I have seen posts on the forum where people are using or suggesting to use Adsense this way in order to monetize link building websites.

    Thanks

If you are a newbie, you really should not dive into adsense until you have made money by other means. Then you will have some money to play around with when testing adsense campaigns. It usually takes awhile to figure out what works.

Up until a few months ago, Adsense was the only way i made money, some months i just managed to bank, other months i only made it half way, it was a very slow small income for what id call a lot of work (few hours a day) maby i was in the wrong market, maby i was doing wrong who cares, i decided to try cheat the system, ho ho ho, didnt work - got banned, decided i wanted another money making way, joined BHW and now im making 10x more a month than i made with Adsense in 2-3 months.

It's one of those things that if you can make it work - chances are you'll do it very very well, otherwise you'll be stuck on $3 a day forever.

"Well make more than 1 website!" - errr i couldnt be bothered.

What a great common sense post!
All you have to do is read Tim Gorman or Josh Spaulding's work, which is free to realize that this is a long term strategy if you want to make the big money.

It isn't hard to make one friggin site a week.

Here, I will even get the "Bunnies" who want to hop from project to project a blueprint. Instead of spending 2 hours a day wasting time on the net, here is how you can make a lasting income.

    Monday
Come up with a niche, don't be concerned with finding that microniche. Don't get me wrong, I bet if you found that one gem that others haven't found you can make a bundle, but you will likely spend a week searching, when you could have designed a brand new site.

Register a domain with the keyword in the title.
Use a customized template. I like Revolution wordpress themes that are modified due to their professionalism and the fact that the large rectangular box fits perfect into the center of the screen and looks natural.

Go look up 40 or so long tail keywords - paste them into a document and print for posterity.

You should have an hour left - Write 5 articles based on your keywords. Use the long tail keyword (LTK) in the title and a few times in the article.

They don't have to be long 250-300 words works fine.

    Tuesday - 2 hours

    Write 10 articles

    Wednesday - 2 hours

    Write 10 articles

    Thursday - 2 hours

Write a small ecourse about the topic. For example if you are doing a site on weddings, have a special report about last minute wedding preparations.

Your click-through rate on article sites should explode (at least 50%) because people want to use an email opt in box to get the report. You can get 25% CTR even with the dullest links by simply making the resource box your conclusion.

You make these last for 3-5 emails, basically 400 words or so each of useful pertinent information.

Now, if you are using aweber, guess what you can sell them on a product. You gave to them, now they are more likely to have a relationship of trust with you.

For example, you can personally promote the wedding speech clickbank product. If you are even smarter, once you have the site setup, you will buy a clickbank product, read the guide, and design your own ebook from scratch, keeping 100% of the profit.

Psst...another secret, try to get them to opt into another list. My favorites are finances (in regards to the recession depression) and I have a unique insight and almost everyone can use the info, as well as an marketing newsletter (on articles in particular) as everyone wants to make money.

These lists take a while to go, and I really just started up with this idea. Once you have a list of targeted devoted readers, you can pretty much print your own money.

Seriously take the whole 2 hours, you are trying to sell a product here.

    Friday - 2 hours

Write the content for your site, usually when targeting the LTK, I try to have relevant landing pages.

Write 5 or so good pages for your website, which you will link your articles back to with the appropriate anchor text.

Upload these to your site, and design the resource box you are going to use for your articles.

    Saturday - 2 hours

Start uploading some of your articles, I usually do 1 or maybe 2 per day, mostly to ezines as they get the most traffic. Some others are okay like dashboard and goarticles.

You should have plenty of time left over, where I submit articles from previous sites that are backlogged.

I will usually also proofread all my articles I have written. Try to be professional.

    Sunday - 2 hours

I usually write 10 or so blog articles and have them set to post every few days, which will last a month.
    _________________________
How do you manage to do 2 hours a day? I used to think, well I will write this much today, that didn't work. So I said to myself, I'm going to just sit down 2 hours a day, like Tim Gorman said and just work.

When you set the time aside, it just becomes a habit, and eventually you can write even longer.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
So for 2 hours, a 14 day week, you can have yourself a site, a site that isn't a piece of garbage. A site which should bring you at least 5$ a day in adsense alone, because you have constant residual traffic from article directories.

Article marketing never went dead, because the people who click through actually buy products. I would rather have a site with 100 clicks through AM than a million clicks from Digg (because you will get 0% conversions).

Google loves traffic from article directories because they know it converts. You usually get the high paying clicks, not to mention if you optimize properly you should have a 20-30% CTR.

If you are getting paid .50 a click with 30%CTR you only need 30 visitors a day.

    -----------------------------------------
How to Get Content - Get a Book Stupid!

Seriously, go to the library, get a basic book, on say weddings, or even better, go to Amazon and purchase a book on weddings. Every few days take a section out of the book, read it, and then write your own article to post on your blog.

I like the blogging route, as I believe it provides opportunity for expansion. Obviously after a couple months, you can pay attention to the most profitable of your sites.

    ---------------------------------------------
So after a year you have 52 sites, you should be in a top income bracket.
People don't understand. This stuff is NOT complicated. Don't get me wrong I an exceptional writer, (my forum writing is very different from my professional) but anyone with an IQ over 100 can do it.

Obviously the better writer are, the more you will make.

And the stuff keeps on growing with more time. I love passive income. It means you can take a month off if you want and you still keep earning.
    __________________________________________

Most of these adsense haters got banned for BH or clicking on their own ads. I am not saying to rely on adsense, you should be trying to sell products to make the most profit, but google takes care of the people who provide them quality traffic.
    ____________________________________________

Even better, once I have built this niche site and am now informed on that topic, I will rewrite my own articles (because it is so quick) and submit to a high paying content site. It brings in extra income, but not monster volume.

I also try to think about what value I can add to the internet.
What hole do I fill that hasn't already been done? I read most of these "niche sites" and they just read like garbage. They are boring wikipedia rehashed content that isn't personable.

Make your content personal. People love communication more than anything else. Talk to them. Not only will you get more traffic and a higher conversion, but *gasp* the content is actually easier to write.

My specialties are in the medical niches. Most sites are way too technical for the average idiot, so I explain everything in terms that an 8th grader can understand.

I think this is an important consideration. Most content on the internet is too complicated for the average American to understand. Keep it simple.

The only way you make decent money with adsense is in either 1 or both of these cases.

    1. You get TONS of unique traffic a day
    2. You have TONS of sites

The first is obvious, but the second you dont really need a lot of traffic just a lot of sites. The easiest is autblogs and creating like 100 of them or more.

Say out of 100 blogs, you should be able to get 10 clicks a day easily after a few weeks. Most clicks are at least 10 cents. So there is $1 a day. Isn't much but then you have to scale it up.

Track your stats, and pick the sites that got the best results and traffic. Scale them up. more backlinks, unique and on topic content, ect. You should be able to get a few bucks easily a day across a bunch of blogs.

Keep going either scaling or adding more blogs for other niches. Soon you have a ton of sites, and some nice extra money.

$300 a month off autoblogs for a beginning is realistic. Get better at it and you could get good at scaling and niche targeting, seo, keyword sniping, and land some sites doing $10 a day on their own.. Some people make over 1k a month just on autoblogs..

If you don't get tons of traffic but you do get SOME traffic just make more sites. It's all about numbers. If you have one simple site that makes $1-a-day. Make 100 more (completely easy just use some cookie cutter method) and you'll have $100 a day (could be more or less). Adsense is a great way to make money. If you get good enough it's almost guaranteed income and you'll know that they'll pay. A lot of people here can make 100+ a day easy. So it's still an awesome way to make income.

My autoblogs, searches, and manual sites are all running Adsense and I find it is a great source of revenue, especially if you have a big enough ad unit space to get the image/video ads, because while they are a little more rare they are clicked on far more often.

Also if your niche isn't that popular or has a low CPC bid then you may not see the money even though you are getting the CTR so what it boils down to is:

Are you trying to monetize your niche site? Or are you trying to find a niche to make money?

If you are trying to monetize a site you own, and want to own and it's in a low yield CPC niche find other ways to monetize it you can always get more CPM value by private selling, or doing affiliate offers etc

If you are looking for a website sheerly to make money then switch to a higher yield niche and battle it out for the traffic.
