Default Question - First Try at Adsense

I created a page last night with adsense ads. It has received 900 pageviews, 200 clicks, 716 link clicks (I'm assuming when they click on the links I don't get paid unless they click an ad on the next page).

This is my first shot at really doing anything with adsense. With this model I feel I can make alot of money. Can someone please check out the page and tell me if you feel I will run in to problems with gugle over sites like this.

I'm going to add a few more pages and some contact info to make it more legit.
And also buy other domains.

The page is at:

eastsidemike dot com /coach.html

Any help would be greatly appreciated. And I will share my system once I get it all worked out.

Thanks

a)images next to ads aren't allowed
b)you have no (almost zero) content
c)you don't have a "privacy policy"
....

your system is flawed.

Yeah having images next to the ads is against Adsense TOS. You may also want to blend the ads, at least use something different than the default colors. Oh and change the background

Good luck!

having images beside ads is not aloud. but it does work good. 3 ads per page and type up some nice unique content and blend your ads into your backround and you will do just fine. thanks

Dont quote me on this but i was under the impression that you were aloud images next to ads on the condition that there was a clear border between the image and the ad to show that they were seperate

I believe dithmo you are correct. Also, the images "next" to the ads are really in the article n my opinion. Google had issues with people uses images that were the same dimensions as the ad displayed in an attempt to draw the surfers attention. In this case I feel the pic has nothing to do with the ads, but then again I'm not a Google reviewer.

To the OP, good luck with this, but Adsense is slowly dieing for me, therefor bigger and better things are gonna have to replace it. It's virtually a waste of ad space these days.

put a rectangular add unit at the end where your article ends it works gr8. and a small add unit after the heading or a rectangular unit at the middle of the article would also help. I just gave you a couple of clicks. enjoy.

If this is your first attempt you are on the right track. The way the page is currently is fine. The image on the page does not portray itself as part of the ad block and is fine the way you have it. Nicely done mate

Try using a large box before the article begins. My CTR is through the roof with that kind of ad placement.

It's a little tight for my taste, I would open up a little. I never had much luck with the 728x15 link like you have at the top. I would put a large rectangle there and change the links color in the 160 x600 to match the colors in the content.

I add 3 728x15 links like this, one under the other

ad1
ad2
ad3

that way people will notice the ad more.

by the way, could you give some tips on how to get 900 pv's in a day?
