Hi everyone....I'm no blackhat guy or anything so hope I'm still welcome here. I've been reading this forum lately reading everyone success stories with Adsense and decided to join and create my own, so I can one day look back at my journey

A little bit about me. I've been trying to make money online for last 5 years or so and have been a complete failure! I made bits of money here and there but never stuck to one thing and didnt work hard enough essentially.

In January 2010 I decided enough was enough and I tried making some niche adsense sites and thank god i saw some success because I was about to quit that too

Basically my plan is to create large authority sites 50-100 pages each with useful content and hopefully get to $100 per day so I can quit my damn miserable job once and for all! However I'm going against the grain here and actually targeting key phases that only get 50-200 searches per month. Sure some get more but its a far cry from the 1000min all the gurus tell you to do.

Here are my results anyway so far....basically the story so far is that I had 4 blogs but I ended up selling 3 of them middle of May and have just kept the 1 large site which now has about 100 pages. I plan to make more of these larger site as said as the method is working for me.

January - $1.20
February - $2.50
March - 6.60
April - $26
May $79 *sold my sites mid way and just kept 1* (my larger site here made $59 of this)

June so far - $70 I have launched my 2nd site this month which I've only added 5 articles to Ezine Articles and 15 articles to my site where only 5 pages are indexed so far...and that site has made me $7 of the $70...and with 10 days to go for the month...my first sites income should approximately double again. wohoo!

As of this day I'm averging about $3.50 per day over a month. But I did get $16 in one day last week which was a shock.

I've started outsourcing articles but may still have to write some myself to keep costs down. Once I'm making about $500 per month I am going to stop spending my own money and will have enough money to outsource 100 articles per month just using adsense earnings and will be able to make 2 new sites per month (50 articles each)

My plan is going to take a while, but I can't see how it can fail...unless Google give me the chop..

If I might make a suggestion, you aren't going to get a lot of link diversity from this method. I mean all your links are coming from ezines and you have to write articles for them. Thats most work to get a link.

I think you need to add social bookmarking and blog posting into this strategy as well. 2 pieces of software will make your life much easier and you will get 100 times the links to each of your own articles.

Hi there. Yes I do do Social Bookmarking (onlywire). I social bookmark my blog pages and EZA articles. I do plan to also submit to other Article Directories...its just a matter of time. I'd rather keep submitting new pages on my blogs and to EZA as I get fast benefits from them...most of my traffic is from longtail searches and about 20% is from EZA. I'm making this much money and once I get more backlinks and rank for the actual terms...well lets say its very exciting.

I also have been submitting to blogs as well. I find new blogs using Google Alerts...but I do this when I feel like it and could do a lot more of it.

Are you carefully selecting keywords/niche/domain or just Going for some random stuff?
Its nice to see that you are getting traffic just from ezine..frankly is ezine traffic (just ezine) can make $20-30 per month per site per article submitted?

Yes I do proper keyword research. I target low competition and low searched terms, as I dont want to spend too much time backlinking each page. But over time I want to get atleast 10 backlinks per page probably from article directories.

Yes EZA is great and the traffic converts really well with Adsense. SEO is 80% of my traffic while EZA makes up the other 20%.

good luck with your adsense journey. I had the same goal with you before. I suggest you target 10 keyword to rank in google. google traffic is still the best when it comes to adsense. And yes link diversity is good.

You are a whitehatter through and through, but don't overlook the power of a couple of blackhat tools. Onlywire is ok, does 30 sites and manual blog commenting and submitting to other directories is ok, but you are maybe going to get 40 backlinks that way. Thats not enough to put your article into a rock solid position in the serps.

Personally, if I go after a keyword, I make sure I give it enough backlinks so that it never moves in the google dance and nobody trys to take it out.

What I am saying is a real social bookmark program that gets you 100+ links and scrapebox are the tools to do this quick and painlessly.

Wohoo so far today I'm on $10.15 (my 2nd highest figure) for 7 clicks and still 8.5hrs left of the day

OK make that 9 clicks $11.50 !!

I'll update this with the final amount at end of the day.

If I wasnt addicted to checking my adsense stats, I'd be making a lot more LOL.

how many article that you already put on your site?
I'm very impressed with your earning....
yes..outsourcing article can be expensive..
I can afford to have 30 article per month to outsource..
can't write it myself..my vocabulary isn't that good..

I have over 100 articles...truth be told I would getting more traffic and money if I targeted keyphrases that get higher search volume, but then again they would be more harder to compete against...I'm happy with the longtail traffic I'm getting.

May I ask what template you are using? Is it a static website, are you using Wordpress?

Yes I'm using wordpress. The theme is something I dont want to share sorry and besides I edited and changed it a lot. A theme I use to use that worked well was one called Punchout.

Goond on ya get to work and the money WILL come! I wouldnt say 100 articles is needed to make decent money. It depends on your niche and monetisation model. 100 articles selling your own product or CPA would probably make more than Adsense....but there is somethng about Adsense that I like so I'm not ready to change just yet.

Made $18.50 from 50 impressions today! (although the stats look a bit weird so it may be a bit higher than 50)

My highest day so far and finally reached the $100 a month mark too.

Yesterday was crazily high ctr isnt that high normally but generally really good stilll.

Thing is I aint doing anything wrong or blackhat. Just a simple information site with unique articles and 1 adsense ad per page.

How does click dumping work? Do you get the clicks the day you were suppose to get them or can you get them in future reports? I think that may explain some really low and hight CTR days? Looking at my reports, I seem to see a pattern where whenever I get a really low CTR for the day, the next day or so my CTR is higher than normal which may mean the clicks are showing up 1-2 days later?

Interesting posts. I like the concept of doing everything on the cheap. It's a good way for people to get started before they can afford the nice tools and tons of outsourcing.

Well here is a method that will help to get some money flowing.

don't know if you know it but it will work but only short term in most cases.

You use google trends you write a article on what ever is trending. then you make sure you have a auto article approval at articlesbase dot c0m after around 20 articles you will have auto approval

You then write a keyword rich article targeting the trending keywords redirect them to a blog with more information about what ever you writing about.

You can use blogger. Now you write a article with more information about the trending topic and put adsence all over. it does work to get a whole bunch of traffic to your adsense and clicks.

just to get some cash flow

What did your cpc look like while doing research seeing as you are receiving decent $$ per click.

Well guys the income keeps rising...I made $121 for the month of June. My main site made $98 up from $58 in May and started 2 new sites in June as well.

Can you shine some light on this question Ernster?

Most of my CPC from the adwords tool were $1-$3 but I'd say about $2 was the average so I get paid about 0.70-$1 per click in most cases.

Don't wish...just do it. Start something and don't stop. If it's making money keep going.

I try and post articles everyday even if it's just 1 a day. It really depends when my outsourcers can send me the articles, then I'll try and add a few everyday.

The articles I buy are aound 450 words each, yet when I write them myself they usually end up at 500-550 words.

your biggest earning site has such a big CTR/CPC... That's pretty impressive I think. I also recently broke the $100 month mark on my 4th month but I get about ~200 ppl daily.

Targetting high CPC low search niches is interesting but I find the CPC cost from adwords can be misleading. One of my websites has a avg CPC of $1.50 yet most of my clicks are .20-.40 cents (very rarely actually get $1+).

Quick update guys. I was really slack in July and did no work for last 2 weeks but still had my best month (how great is Adsense!)

I made $150 for the month of July up from $121 in June.

My progress is the following: (the amounts are NEW income made per month)

January - $1.20
February - $2.50
March - $6.60
April - $26
May $79
June - $121
July $150

It could be a lot more, but I am really slack and procrastinate a LOT but goes to show a bit of consistency and it still keep growing.

The CPC value is not how much you are supposed to be paid when someone clicks on one of the ads. This is the amount the advertiser needs to pay to get to advertising position #1.

You should estimate that you will earn on each click about 15-35% of the CPC value.

Bones, where did you get that statistic? From experience or here-say?

Because in my experience the location of the traffic is more of a determining point than the actual cpc. In the past I've noticed that the cpc isn't anything really. It all depends on where your traffic is coming from.

But to the op, great job!

Adsense is a slow start, but once your into it, you'll be stacking that paper! I'm starting on a couple of my own authority sites soon!

I am talking from personal experience. For me, the CPC values do matter. That's exactly why I focus on niches (and keywords) with higher value CPCs. It doesn't matter where the traffic is coming from if the niche is made up of low valued CPCs.

Sure, my insurance blog will get an occassional $0.12 click. But most of the are greater than $1.50 each.

Not quite, the ultimate goal is to rank top 5 for each keyword but as of now I get more referral traffic than SE traffic. Ezine Articles is my main traffic source but I do get a fair bit from the Search Engines too.

What I've found is initially when making a new site I get more SE traffic, but later on the referral traffic outpaces it.
