Hi guys, I know it's a newbie question but please no mean answers. If I create a blogger blog and duplicate content do I have to fear that my adsense account might get banned?

In my experience it is very unlikely to get banned for this. Adsense bans are usually for click fraud e.g. clicking own ads, or incorrect display of ads e.g. next to pictures etc. Where you could run into trouble is if it was obvious that the site site had just been made for Adsense, but as long as it looks fairly well made, which is easy with a blogger blog, I have not known this to be a problem - ranking with duplicate content would be your biggest challenge.

Please tell me if copy an article from other site and re-publish it on my site with making a little change in title of that post will I be penalized by google for this.

In term of Duplicate content, Adsense is not some thing you worry about but if you'll try to seo your sites then duplicate content will not help you much to gain much higher ranking

Somewhere in the policies page it mentions that ad publishers are NOT allowed to use plugins that automatically generate content. A.K.A. autoblogs.

I imagine duplicate content is the same situation. I wouldnt recommend it.

and how about forums? i know a whole lot of forums that copy each other and they do have adsese on. will they be banned?

I don't think adsense will ban you for duplicate content. But yes, they will disable ad serving to your site, or delete your blogger blog.

The adsense team will usually give you a warning first to remove the copyrighted. In some cases they do directly ban your account or disable serving ads. Read their tos for a better understanding, everyone does have mix opinion about this..

I have copied content from another site but that content was in an other language than English. I used Google Translate and I have also adjusted the content to be readable in English. Then I have posted it on my site. Now the owner of the non-English site is threatening me that he will report me to Google Adsense to blacklist me and will also and issue a DCMA takedown notice. Are these things possible, having in mind that his content is not English and I have translated and adjusted it?. Thanks for replying, guys.

If you have articles from directories on your blog, you should have a paragraph or two explaining your take on the article. This will add value to the visitor.

And do ensure you don't tinker with the resource box. That is required to be displayed according to the article directories' TOS.

Just to let you guys know, i had duplicate content on one of my sites and i got banned because of it. So be careful!

Duplicate contents is against Google TOS, so don't use otherwise you can get ban.

What happens in most cases is that an account is disabled if many of the owners of those articles file DMCA. Those things draw the attention of the Google Adsense team that you are not the owner of the the content you are using to have adsense ads displayed. If you are lucky and nobody complains, you could have the content on your site for many years with adsense

Yes, you will get ban from it. Not only adsense, they will not rank your site too.

If its overtly duplicate I'd imagine so.

Not to mention the fact that you're going to get hit in the rankings.

Depend what your aticles are about. Like if its related to hack or adult content, you might get banned. Read their privacy policy.

i think you'll be facing serps problems instead of adsense problems in a way, it will affect your income as google will not be helping you with visitors

my 1st blog in blogger dot com is completely a blog full of duplicate contents. but i run adsense in that blog form 2009. and believe me or not its still alright.
yes, its true that i don't get too much clicks or visitors but its valid still now
so i don't think Google will ban your account for duplicate contents.

I'm not so sure about this whole "duplicate content" thing. I know someone who has held the top ranking for his keywords, and it is 100% copied content.

I thought duplicate content was, say you have 2 URLs going to the same content.

Either way, this friend of mine never uses original content, and he makes decent money from AdSense.

There are ways of using content form another site, and get away with it. I'm not sure how people do it,exactly, but it can work. What this one guy does is use RSS feeds on his main page, and the rest is pretty much not his content. He's being doing it for 3 years. Just spoke with him, e is still earning. Maybe Google is just slow to catch on.

Exactly, if you just copy material and offer nothing else, it WILL get you into some trouble. That's why you shouldnt be lazy, and just rip someones material.

Lets say you are copying articles about dogs. You should offer something else, such as , idk, a page dedicated to say different breeds of dogs, how we get different breeds, etc.

Copy Content is not a reason for Ban unless Content owner writes to Google
