Hey guys is it normal to have an AdSense site that one day averages 2 cents and the next day is 20 cents, then 8 cents, then 2 cents, then 20 cents, etc?

From what I understand, smart pricing is evaluated weekly so I don't think it's smart pricing that's responsible.

One day I'll be getting 2 cent clicks and the next is 20 cents. I don't know what's going on.

Is this normal?

as far as i know... it has nothing to do with smart pricing... there is no such thing if u ask me.... it all depends on the quality of ur traffic

if the ip is from china or india or any other asian country, u will get 1 cent or 2 cent... if its from US, Canada or UK.. u get around 50 cents to a dollar.....

I agree with tattoo. We have seen this also with three different accounts at the same time. And we had, when we checked this with the 3 accounts very good keyword related traffic

gugle cpc vary and gugle is the only person who knows how they allocate the pricing. but to me, it depends on who is clicking on your side, from where it coming from, which ads positions they click and how valuable your content is. bottomline, gugle pays a lot to website that is proven to convert for the advertisers. and pre-selling does matter.

from wht i observed, traffic from article directories (esp EA) converts & pays a lot! this can be due to the fact that they are already pre-sell right before they visit my website...
