Adsense backgrounds TOS

Ok i see the adsense backgrounds a lot a round the net, some claim it is against adsense terms others claim not. here is a guy that wrote adsense and get a reply back:http://andybeard.eu/2007/01/adsense-...ckgrounds.html

And read the comments, it seems that booble aloud this
(don't buy backgrounds, simply copy the backgrounds, or make them yourself)

What was blowing my mind is this adbg:http://dotcommogul.net/images/video.jpg, very effective i think.

Has anyone experience with this? i smell higher ctr...or a ban...

I'm a member here and the owner of Dot Com Mogul. Thanks for telling people to just copy the designs and not buy them. Appreciate that. They are 5 Lousy Bucks ... and they have increased my CTR. Copying them will do you little good. They are not properly sized for the Adsense blocks and there are over 300 designs included.

When did they change the TOS to allow this?

The rule on images is that you can't put images next to the Adsense ... such as product images that are designed to deceive the people into thinking it is product images that belong to the ads. It is the deception they don't allow. Andy Beard asked Matt about the background images and he said they were fine ... there's no deception. Now it might be deceptive if you used images of products. But these are generic so that's not a problem. Oh and Projectx ... no worries. I know this forum very well and I'm not particularly pissed. Just saying ... I designed several of these myself and paid for some to include and I'm asking a really low price ... so don't screw members ... ok?

I didn't know that was your site, sorry for that. If you design them i can image that your a little pissed. Forgive me, i thought it was hacked @dclustr turnkey package that was flowing on the internet.

Part of the package is RSR for that package, some are my own and there are two other packages that I purchased to put them all together. I'm also going to be designing some more and those that buy in at $5.00 will get those too at no additional cost. I least like the dclustr package ... that is why it is going so cheap but there are way enough good designs to work with. You can see them on my sites dotcommogul.net, fishandwildlife.info, catsrus.tv dogsrus.tv and blabberwocky.net The fish, cats, dogs and blab site are custom made from the designs that are included.

I gave the "sexy" approach some thought and decided that Google would probably call that "calling undue attention" to the ads. To be on the safe side, I didn't include any sexy stuff in the package. Problogger talked a bit about the sexy backgrounds and people are pretty much afraid to use them ... don't want to get banned. Might be able to something ... sort of like the moose, cat and dog but with a sexy girl but no body shot. Girl holding the sign in front of her.

Put it this way. I played around with Adsense for a year and never made enough money to get a check from Google. I started using these about 2 weeks ago and I've made 4 times what I made the whole year. I'm starting to build more Adsense blogs with these backgrounds now.

but at $1 cheaper?
Or did you get the Master Resale Rights and selling it

here now?

Mine is those plus two other packages plus some that I designed myself included. I got Master Resale Rights for that package shown and added a lot more because that package has a lot of really lame ass graphics. It's got some cool ones but a lot that are awful.
