Default Wordpress & Adsense. What's the best theme?

As the title says, what's the best theme to run a blog implemented with Adsense?
I mean, something which is optimized with Adsense, with well disposed ads and whatever.
I just know Prosense
hxxp://www.doshdosh.com/prosense-adsense-ready-seo-theme/

but i'd like to know your opinion

Thanks

I don't reckon it matters which theme you use. What matters is where you position the adsense code.

I get really good results from a big square box in the top left just below the header. Check out the eye tracking studies and you'll see where the hot spot is.

Honestly, I dont know why people always look for wordpress plugins, it is not that difficult to add the adsense code in the template files of any wordpress theme in seconds. a tip: use the text urls with 4 or 5 keywords close to the "this post was added to the CATEGORY" line below your posts for example...

So whats the best theme? GOSH. You can make ANY theme good if the overall design is being liked by your target group and you place the ads in the spots as mentioned above on the posts. The adsense "hot spot" guide on their official site is valid for wordpress blogs as well as any other site:
look here:

https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...y?answer=17954

And there are two philosophies with your sites and blogs:

1. blend the ads into the theme so it looks more editorial then advertisy
(be careful not to violate the rules for placing ads near pictures etc.)
2. INTERRUPT your design with adsense blogs with formats that people are
not used to to avoid that they are "blending them out" while browsing at your site
(so both concepts are actually the extreme oposites!)

IMPORTANT: your wordpress blog needs to have a PRIVACY DISCLOSURE
as per the new adsense rules. The Script that I use (see my signature) has
already an automated privacy disclosure page build in and in fact I combine
that script along with wordpress blogs on the same domain.

Contact me for examples etc.

I've had great luck by using a 728x90 across the top, under the header menu. Then using one or two 200x200/250x250 squares on the left or right on the sidebar. I put affiliate banners down the side under the adsense so people see them as they scroll down. You may have to do some playing around with positions till you get the right formula.

I'd check out the BoxTube Template (google it), has a bunch of nifty widgets and it's easy to add your adsense code.

How about this one: http://www.sap**iensbr**yan.c0m/inde...-wide-version/
(remove * and 0=o)

It holds room for adsense and other adds.

i used easywordpress template. it really simple, neat and fit for adsense ads. most importantly, it converts! but i think, it depends on your niche behavior. i guess not all niche would react the way some profitable niche react on such wordpress template...

I just installed the new version of that template (the widgeted wide one) a few days ago. I think it's a great theme. The first time I went to his site, I clicked the fucking link unit at the top TWICE thinking it was a navagation bar. My hope is that if it fooled me, it will fool someone else.

I've also used ProSense and BlueSense from the list at DoshDosh
Code:
hxxp://www.doshdosh.com/16-adsense-optimized-wordpress-themes-to-maximize-your-contextual-ad-earnings/
and the Dateless Sniper theme from Courtney Tuttle
Code:
hxxp://courtneytuttle.com/2008/06/04/dateless-sniper-20-now-available/
.
