Default Adsense CTR confusion

I read in a thread that if your Adsense CTR goes past 10%, that supposedly raises a "red flag" with the Adsense team. When someone refers to the CTR going above 10%, is it for the days activity or your whole "all the time" earning? Can someone please explain this to me. Thanks

10% ctr is quite normal on a good well layed out site, nothing to worry about

Thanks for your reply, but is it for the days earnings or the whole account?

Doesnt matter which its not a big thing 10% CTR to some is low, i have a few sites doing 25% CTR with $2 a click ads, and it surely doesnt set flags off, its legit.
And this is kinda normal, my bet is anything over 30% would set big flags off, as long as its legit clicks its fine

Yeah, i am also with Harro here, 10% is normal, quite low i would say. My websites constantly have 20-30% ctr and i have not had any problem so far.

Try and vary up the ad format, the variation that works best for me is the inline rectangle (300x250) stuck in a block of text. That helped me go from 6.5% to 15%.
