I'm completely new to IM, am struggling with it. Have yet to make a dollar with the things i'm doing but I will not give up. I've watched the youtube videos, went thru some courses on Udemy, looked at countless things trying to learn about how to make money online and i get the feeling that the people posting the instructional material on how to do it are leaving out something critical. Sounds easy but it's not exactly easy, I started an Ebay account listing things off other sites, arbitrage. Got a couple scammers trying to get me to send products before they paid but other than that nothing. Deleted the Ebay account. Started a Shopify store, populated it with products from my chosen niche. Doing Google AdWords and a Facebook campaign and have had some traffic, but no sales yet. Signed up for Clickbank and am going to try doing affiliate marketing, feeling around in the dark but i'm not stopping till this produces. Is there anyone that can point me to a step by step tutorial on how to be successful at Clickbank and also Shopify? That doesn't cost thousands of dollars?

Take the path less traveled. Shopify is tough its eCommerce so is affiliate sales when you start. I helped launch a major eCommerce site and really there has to be a better way.
Go and get yourself on freelancer go and do a bit article writing just put all your bids in at a $5. Then once you have done a little article writing move over to get your first SEO project. To beat the competition you will have to put in hundreds of bids. Once you get to about 10 or 12 projects then come back and do affiliate sales and Clickbank. I started on $5 and i was writing about runway aviation lighting it took me 3 days but that's where i started. If you work the way round i have wrote you will gain the experience to sell just about anything plus you will learn traffic generation and good research skills. I learnt a hell of a lot of stuff off here good luck. If you want a fail safe get do your bidding in new year and xmas still plenty of work but you will have a hell of a lot less competition.

thank you for your response, i wasnt sure what to think about it but after giving it some thought i think i'm going to follow what you're saying. seems like a real off the beaten path method and probably is legitamate so thank you. how do you learn how to do an SEO project?

Learnt quite a bit on here and then learnt quite a bit doing article writing and blog writing. In them two things there's something you will learn to do well research and that is one of the keys you need. One way of looking at it at least you will get something there's no failure unless you don't finish the blog or article. The other thing is that when you are starting on places like freelance you want to learn to trust the right people and learn to take the right project. Freelance is a great place to start but there is more than there fare share of bad people. Once you are ready for doing an SEO project as such get a free trial of either Moz or Semrush these tools are going to guide you. Read in this forum the beginning guides and creating traffic. You can worry about more advanced things as your going link building, Analytics, maybe PBMS stuff like that. Now when you have learnt things like that then look at affiliate marketing and Sopify. Maybe set yourself a blog up while your going start writing about a subject you know about. Then after say 50 or 60 posts then start putting some affiliate links in. Patience is the biggest thing in SEO well it is for me. I have failed more than once and having lots of projects you learn what works well and what is guaranteed failure.

Don't give up on your Shopify store yet because the shopping season has begun. Get better at fb ads by testing.

1.Maybe you could ask someone to look at your site and give you feedback on why you aren't getting conversations.
2. Are your prices higher than the comp's?
3. Use IG and FB page to help promote
