amazon affiliate in different countries

hi all ...

starting to do amazon affiliate recently,
may i know why do we need to create different account for differente affiliate countries? e.g.
amazon.ca and amazon.com

i am wondering if different countries peoeple, say canada clicked on my US amazon.com links and i still get a count, then why do i need to make different countires account and use geo plugins?

You need to use Amazon localization plugin in Wordpress (if you are using wordpress) and yes, you need to register at each site.

Edit: That plugin helps like this - user from UK clicks on US link, he is redirected to UK link and you still get commision.

Amazon is specific to your region that's why you have to register on multiple countries separately.

Becox English not my native Lang

What I meant is, if say a user from Canada can also purchase in amazon.com ( United States ) amazon affiliate store and I will also count a click as unique visitors and also $ commission right ?

If yes I wonder why I need to make different countries for that ; I mean other than the languages it support what the different ?

Yes, but as they'll be paying shipping and tax, don't be expecting too many of those types of orders.
