My journey to knowledge

So, I've been lurking around on BHW for quite some time now. Even though I haven't posted many comments or anything, I have read loads of threads and tried to learn something from it.
Disclaimer: I'm from The Netherlands, so I'm not a native English speaker. Currently 17 years young, which means things like transfers to my bank account are a bit dodgy.

Short background story:
Before I found BHW I was already very interested in IM, A few months before I stumbled upon BHW I started to us ethe affiliate program on a game selling site. ( It was absolutely atrocious and I got an average payout of about 0.5%.... ) I still don't really know how I managed to pull off the sales I did. The first month I used the program I did about 300 sales a day and earned about 35-40 bucks every single day. After the website had some weird downtime, my sales crashed and I'm currently at about 40 sales a day, earning like 3-6 bucks a day.
Almost all the money I earned is still just sitting on my PayPal account. ( Well over 1000 euros )
Sidenote: I only used twitter to promote the affiliate website.

Just a few days ago I started my real journey.
What I did:

• Bought a micro niche website
• Optimize SEO (As far as my knowledge goes, I only used Yoast SEO on all the articles.)
• Applied for google Adsense
• Bought 1 private proxy for social media
• Did some niche related research ( Dog food )

Currently waiting to get indexed.

Total spent: €55.02
Monthly costs: €7.83
Earnings: €0.00

The purpose of my journey is to gather enough knowledge so that I can earn some decent € online.
Things I have no knowledge about what so ever:

• Facebook (including facebook ads and even creating a page.)
• VPN, PBN, Massplanner, scraping, tiered stuff like backlinks
• Shopify shops, OGads, amazon affiliate ( Most cause problems, because I'm from The Netherlands. )
• Almost everything on BHW

The thing is, I read allot about different ways to make money online. I just have DONE any of them myself. That's why I just started a micro niche site, just to get moving and finally start to learn some real things and test out some stuff.

Things I think I know:

• Basic proxy things
• Basic SEO optimization
• Semi-automatic social media. (Twitter)
• I have general knowledge about some subjects here on BHW. ( I'm still learning loads of ''Basic'' stuff every day. For example, I just found out what PBN actually means....

In this thread, I will be posting some daily updates about my day to day struggles and small victories. I really enjoy solving problems I face, It provides me with something to do.

To start of my quest to basic IM knowledge I'm trying to figure out what the best approach will be for my micro niche website. Things I have already stumbled upon that concern me are:

• How do I drive organic traffic to my website?
• How do I get good backlinks?
• How can I engage with my (hopefully) future audience?
• How do I correctly SEO optimize my website?

I'm already doing research on all the above mentions subject. But if you happen to have any advice on these matters I'll greatly appreciate it if you could comment on this thread.
The whole IM thing is a HUGE learning experience for me and I will try my best to post any problems I come across and also post the solutions to those problems. (If I can figure them out.)

I am in the same boat as you, Sempix! That's awesome that you're getting started and it seems that you're determined and driven to achieve your goals. You're doing all the right things at this point - at least, I think. If you'd like, I could add you on Skype and we can share helpful learning links about topics, books, videos, etc. I'm in the process and it'd be cool to work with a link minded individual to attain our individual goals.

UPDATE 1
So I've come up with a plan on how I will be adding content to my micro niche website.
Here's my plan (for now):

• Write 1 article with about 500 words every day
• Promote my posts on social media
• Optimize on-page SEO (as far is I know how)

I also thought of some ideas to expand my micro niche website to a more general niche website. I don't know if this will influence my future rankings for my current main keyword.

I'm currently still waiting to get approved by google Adsense, It's still telling me that my website will be reviewed within 3 days...


Some things that I'm still struggling with:

• Social media ( I've never worked with social media platforms like Pinterest. )
• Getting traffic to my website ( I hope the traffic will start dropping in when my website gets ranked.

I also have some good news, I'm getting the hang of searching for keywords. I don't know if I'm doing it right, but I found a site that shows me all kind of keyword related statistics. It also provides me with about 25 related keywords for every search I do.
