Default Using Myspace Apps to Make Money

This is a method that I've been using for close to a year now with great success. I'm really shocked that no one else has posted this method before as it is so obvious and incredibly easy. Just thought I'd share since I've learned a lot in this community.

Basically these are the steps:
1. Sign up to the myspace developers program
2. Create an app
3. Monetize it with ads or anything you want really
4. Rinse and repeat

So after you sign up with the developers program you will create your first app. So what kind of app should you create? Why a game of course! So what type of game should you use? Flash games of course!

It is important to know that you do not have to be a developer to use this method. Go out to any website and get the embed code for a popular flash game. The more popular the game the more users you will have. Think about what games are popular on xbox and wii and you can usually find a flash equivalent, but even things like solitaire, blackjack, etc. will get you a few thousand users.

So why MySpace instead of Facebook? If you notice in the MySpace apps directory you will notice a listing for "New Apps". Facebook does not have this listing feature and this is where the majority of your new signups will come from. After your app is approved you will be listed on the main myspace apps homepage for at least 12 hours, usually longer. This will give you HUGE exposure and adds.

Monetization
How you monetize is up to you. There are plenty of whitehat and blackhat methods that you can use. You are allowed by myspace to advertise on the canvas pages of the apps. Adsense works well with a little tweeking. By default adsense has trouble getting the content off of the canvas pages but you can use an iframed page with keywords in it to build relevance.

All the blackhatters will probably be drooling when they think about the potential here. Let's look at some stats. Say you have 10,000 installs on your app (I currently have 4 with at least 10,000 installs, not hard). Now you have a canvas page for that app, but you also have a profile page for that app. So if each of those users gets just 10 profile views per day that is 100,000 daily impressions from one app.

Although advertising on the profile page is against the rules those who are creative will find a way. It just takes a little outside of the box thinking. I used to CS epn there but got banned because I was stupid. It was before I learned the in's and outs of cloaking. But before I got banned I was doing $1K a day.

I think that I've covered just about everything here. Thanks are appreciated
