About Expire domains / Majestic analyse

Hi.
1. Majestic has 4 category when you checking website ( Root domain, Subdomain, Patch (url*), URL, and if anyone knows what the difference is of that categores? When im checking website ETC www.site.com it has 0 backlink, and when im checking with http://site.com it has 50 backlink. can anyone answer this question? Im going to buy domain like that and it works or not?
2. If anyone knows minimum how many backlinks should have expire domains and will it works for PBN?
3 . I have saerched several domain witch has backlinks 5 - 10 , and TF - 20 - 30 and will this domains work for PBN

What is necessary to draw attention before buy domain of that:

1. When you are searching using root domain like site.com and it shows 0 links that means this website has no back link pointing to the root domain. Check the way back machine they used their site using www version. So when you check using www.site.com you are seeing the all links data. So check using all option. And set the domain based on it which has the best metrics you think are good for PBN. Like if the subdomain version has the good metrics then you need to set your domain using www. So you will get the all link juice from there

2. I prefer to have at least 20 ref. domain. Some will suggest to have 15 so it varies. But minimum 20 is the ideal no to go with that domain.

3. Again it varies like i said i will go with that domain which has minimum 20 ref. domain. Because when you relive the website it may drop some links. So if you have 5-10 links and some might drop then the power will decrease. But if those 10 links are really strong and niche relevant then i might go with it. It depends on your research actually. But in general sense i will suggest to go with domain which 15+ ref. links.

Basic things i follow -

TF - 20+
CF - I dont care just make sure its maintain the ratio with TF. I prefer 1:1.5 ratio for buying a domain. I mean if the TF is 20 then CF will be 35 or less. More than 35+ means link has low trust issues. Generally people will suggest 1:2 ratio but i prefer to go with 1:1.5
PA - 20+
DA - 15+
Fresh back link profiles
No Chinese or non English anchor cloud
Make sure the website didnt use as PBN before.

Note :- You will find lots of PBN guide on the web. I just wrote some basic things i followed. But better do some research on the web. (Sorry for my bad English )

Min referring domains depends on what you want. I used to go for 10+ then 20+. Now I go for 50+.

Nichexposure summed it up pretty well, but there are a few things to add.

Regarding TF/CF ratio, that's not really necessary to check at all. You have domains with maybe 30 referring domains and you can check every backlink by hand if need be, so there's really no point in looking at CF whatsoever.

Regarding the number of RDs... that depends entirely on you. I go with minimum RD 10, but I know people who go even with 5, some people who go with 20, some 30 etc. The rule of thumb is, the higher the number of referring domains, the higher the chance that the domain has some bad history or is penalized. Finding expired domain with clean history and RD 50+ is quite a feat, finding one with RD100+ is nearly impossible and I can't even remember when was the last time I saw one.

Regarding different TF metrics on different variants of the domain. This is how it goes:

I always check http://www.domain.com version for TF
www.domain.com - This version tends to have the highest TF.
http://domain.com - This version has mostly the lowest TF
domain.com - Determine the complete number of RD on this version, since you will (or you should) use a plugin, which redirects the dead pages to homepage.

No need to go for as high TF as 20+. Go with something in between. TF10+ with 20 - 25 RD will do better than TF25 with 5 RD etc. You will find your sweet spot eventually.

And yes, checking history is the most important part and checking anchors and Archive.org is not enough. There are at least 2 more important steps to be 95% sure that the domain is clean. Then again, you can use the shotgun approach, not bother wich checking history at all, register everything, and 1 out of 3 domains won't be penalized and will work fine. But again... there are different kinds of approach and you have to find the one you are okay with.

@Nargil really much appreciated elaboration. I was on just basic point but you hit some deep issues. Completely agreed on each point you mentioned. Hope OP will find its helpful and can work on it now.

Yeah dont worry about the TF/CF ratio or you will miss a shit ton of domains. Its pretty useless.

I just make sure the domain has at least 10+ TF and no spam links.

The inbound links matter more than the CF-TF. A TF 10 site with 100 really good relevant links is far better than a TF30 with 2 links. What if the TF 30 site loses those 2 links? it's TF 0 now

Choosing an expired domain is the best choice,as others said look for metrics which is really important and probably the back links ,Many expired domains has already built thousands of back links and you can get benefit from them if expired domain has good number of high quality back links for you.Only high number of high quality back links can’t do anything. It can help you if you want to make blog on same niche or almost same niche.Focus on the good quality content that should be related to your niche.

IMO, 5-50 referring domains with TF10+ are fine but I make sure those domains are not penalized. Also, I check their history in archive and backlink profile if they were spammed/abused previously.

It's useful to check the root domain first and then check subdomain level with and without the www. You'll sometimes find a domain with strong metrics at root domain level but no backlinks at subdomain level, meaning all the backlinks point to inner pages, meaning you'd have to rebuild them all to keep the metrics (assuming Google treats a redirect to home page as a soft 404).

Also check the backlinks to make sure the strong metrics don't all come from the first one or two links. If those get dropped you end up with a domain with TF=0.

1. how many expired domains can be redirected on 1 site?
2. in case of buying expired domain do we make redirect at once or do we wait for some time?
3. generally how many redirects can be done on 1 site?
4. in case of buying expired domain is there necessity on " majestic.com " to have my niche topic / "categories" for redirecting or there is no matter ?
