Press release question

I have tried searching for this questions, and a lot of the results I saw were old.

What are the best sites (in your opinion) to use for distributing press releases? Does it still work to have a writer for say huffington post...post a press release for you? Does anyone have connections like that?

I would recommend PRWEB. They do decent job for distribution even after they got penalty from Google.
