They DO want a nice guy, but they don't want a doormat. They are constantly testing for this and other things and it's a constant unconscious process that goes back to the dawn of man.

The typical nice guy puts her on a pedestal just for her looks and she knows this. She KNOWS that every thing she says isn't witty, funny, intelligent or whatever...but the nice guy will still kiss up to her and tell her what he thinks she wants to hear.

She cannot respect this guy. If you supplicate, you masturbate. You CAN be nice, but you still have to be a leader. When she tests to see what she can get away with, you have to make it clear that you have a line and if she crosses it, you're gone. There's plenty of other fish in the sea. This makes you a challenge and higher on the totem pole.

Being nice is not about buying her affection with gifts and dinners and telling her everything that's great about her (which is mostly in your own head)...she's heard it all a million times. There's a lot of nice guys saying the same thing.

So take her off the pedestal and don't be afraid to speak your mind instead of trying to say what you think she wants to hear.
