Be kind... my feelings hurt easily :P

I am completely new to this, although I did make 5 dollars last year on my personal site! I know it is very impressive!

Ok, I set up a new site.
It was an old domain that I had lying around.
It is horrible as far as google search is concerned 15700000 results for main keyword.
But, I thought I would try it out anyway, more as a test bed.

Anyway, here are my questions:
* Do you need to set up seperate adsense accounts for each website?

* Does each page need it's own ad (and channel) (adsense)?

* Is getting content through RSS feeds a good thing?

* How the heck do I find affiliates for my specific site?

I know these are really basic questions. But, like I said I am just getting
started. I read Doug's post and pm'd him, but he hasn't gotten back to me.

Also, I am trying to do this as white hat as possible.

Lastly, if anyone could give me any suggestions I would highly appreciate it.
my site is
erefinance.org

Take a look at it and tell me how to unboink myself.
Also, please don't do any dark side of the force things to it.

Oh, and I used to be a programmer for a bunch of years.

1. No, you dont have to setup seperate adsense accounts for each website, although i recommend if you really making a nice income to seperate your business across atleast 2 adsense accounts to create some fallback if one of your accounts get suspended.

2. You can use different channels for each page to track them if you feel that is important for you, but it isnt necessary ofcourse.

3. I prefer to create unique content to target specific keywords. Automated RSS content can do the job aswell but to stay friends with google dont let your site rely purely on RSS.

4. Signup for different CPA networks to find related offers for your niche. there are hundreds of them with like unlimited offers :). You can find some good CPA networks if you make a search on this forum for it.

you could also promote an affiliate product from Clickbank. Sign up and clickbank.com and do a search for your keyword. You will find products you can promote.

earning via adsense is very slow... you should try being an affiliate.

check out cj.com and shareasale.com for products you can promote

Thanks guys!
I really appreciate the information!
I think I am going to hope on all those wagons.
But, does clickbank and affiliates play nicely, with page ranking.

Which... I dont even know what my page is ranked at... probably 15700001 out of 15700000! haha

Click bank should not affect your page rank if that is what you mean. Always best to add original content with related keywords where you can.

This keeps your site optimized for the keywords you wish to promote.

Finding affiliates is something you have do seperately if you have a good product you can list with click bank or paydotcom and hope people will pick it up and promote it for you. You can advertise on forums and see if any would be affiliates will run with it.
