Would anyone be able to advise me on how I can identify some good quality linking opportunities?

There is a lot of good information in the sticky links in this forum. You should read them. There are many ways to do this. One of the most common is to put your competitor's domains into backlink tools like Ahrefs and Majestic, then see where they are getting high ranking links from and copy their links. Also, do some searches through the forum. There is a wealth of information on that topic already posted and discussed.

Link opportunities depend on your industry, your personal networking and connects, ingenuity, etc.

The junk in the marketplace is just automated crap. That's why it's so cheap. Real linking opportunities will cost you some real $$$

It is really hard to to give advises in case you don't know what do you want. Linkbuilding should be done carefully for a website and before doing it you have to be well informed about it.

Carry out competitor analysis and check what link types they are doing well with. You can then look for similar link sources.

Good linking opportunities would not be easy. You will have to identify key platforms where you can leave your links and then run lots of filters.

Open up Ahrefs, look for your competitor's backlinks lists and try to get backlinks from those sites.

Make sure that wherever you get links from, are solid sites. do they look good and do they get genuine visitors. Or are they spammy? in which case avoid them
