Partner? what the fudge?

okay so i saw someone on freds page so i clicked and...
THEIR A YOUTUBE PARTNER, autoplay all that junk, YET
............... thay only have 23 subscribers... what the hell is goin on?
i thought you had to have like 5k subs to even be considered???

i messaged the guy, asking how he he did it and his reply was...

"im a relation to the youtube owner"

yea right...

the ten minutes later he says...

"i'll doit for you too, im not really alowed to do it, it requires me logging into your account"

well DUH i'm not gunna fall for that... but anyone know how he's managed to get partnrship or anything?

i know my account is in bad standing for it but... LoL


oh oh oh and he only has one video with like 11 fuffing views!

Hey! I am actually a registered YouTube Partner on 2 different accounts and was browsing these forums for some tips.

Once I was approved to the YouTube partnership program, part of the registration page asked me if I had more than one account on YouTube. I clicked yes and entered in 2 other of my accounts, which made my main account and the 2 others have all the partnership features (auto play on channel page, branding and banners, AdSense revenue, etc.)

This may be the case with the person you are looking at, he might have a main account with more subscribers or he just asked his friend who has achieved the status to link him to the partnership. Just don't fall for that scam he is attempting to pull off, complete BS.

Just wondering, when you applied to become a partner did you have the yellow box stating "it is unlikely you will qualify to become a partner"?

No, there was no pre-determination when I applied, I just clicked the sign-up button.
