Another CL spin - works very well!

Here's my contribution to BHW:

So I have tested a few ads on Craigslist telling them that I give away my new Flat TV for free. Actually I really have a flat TV.. so I've made a photo of it with a paper on which was written something like "Get this Flat TV for free on Craigslist" This picture makes the people think that you really have that tv and you actually want to give it away.. on CL..

.. You can also make a kind of lottery of it and tell them that only the 193. Email wins or something...


Now concerning higher Conversions:
In the email which I reply I have told the people that they're not the 193. But as a thanks that they have written an email for me I wanted to give them something as a gift. I told them that my father was owner of a Website which is a kind of lottery( which is your CPA offer ). So I can talk to my father and tell him that I would like to pick the winner of the lottery. And of course I will pick you as a thanks.

I like the idea of telling people that in order to enter a raffle for the tv they need to submit their email to one of your offers. Not quite sure how you'd go about getting them to the offer, unless you emailed them the website address of your website.
Have you tried this?

are lotteries/raffles allowed on cl?

well my test ads stayed all for one hour.. I think its possible to optimize that after working on it.


And yeah I know that this idea was posted here before. But my title says that this is another spin. And I don't remember that anybody posted here the idea that "my father is the owner of that website" and that's what makes the good conversions in the end.. at least for me.

LOL, i just came from a short and sweet vacation to read this. A noob shooting down something i'm 99% sure he hasn't tested. well i'm off to the free section tonight to kill this....of course with my own twist.

Time to get back in the game.
