Hi,
I thought i would ask BHW for help since I dont really want to fork over $30 just to talk to my routers technical support for this.
Yesterday all the sudden both of my laptops said there was no wireless connection. I tried hooking them up from a Ethernet cable from the laptop to the d-link 524 router I have and initially that worked. After resetting the modem and router many times nothing happened. I then restored the router to factory defaults and now the only way i can connect is to the modem directly so that made things worse. When i went to the routers setup thing when i could actually get connection from the Ethernet cable to the laptop it seemed like it wasn't fetching the ip address and it said the dhcp wasn't connected. When i tried to renew it it said something like dhcp renew timeout. Finally I decided to just unplug everything for the night and when i woke up nothing worked still.
Anyone know a solution?
