Crows are incredibly smart, some guy managed to train them to use a special vending machine to get food. He had them scouring the area for coins which they deposited in the machine in return for some nuts.

Check this out too, bare in mind the bird has never done this before, or seen anybody doing it. It looks at the problem, sizes it up and then works out the solution. Absolutly brilliant
