Ok, so the only thing that im missing from my seo arsenal is a private blog network.

My aim is to make a few blogs, blast the shit outta them with hi pr links, and post website reviews on them (so it can be used for any niche without the blogs looking too spammy)

Can this be done successfully with web 2.0s and free hosted sub domains?

The main thing here is that I dont wanna spend any money buying hi pr domains and multiple hosting accounts :p

Please answer me soon guys as I wanna set something up asap (im going back to work tomorrow :( )

Also, if anyone has any tips for me then that would be great :D

Mate,

This is something I've explored and I'll share my experience.

Like anything, If you don't mind a fairly unreliable network with lower quality content you can build this fairly cheaply on "free" hosts. Yes you get good ip variety, etc etc.

Don't link them together, don't link them ALL to the same site.

If you're thinking 5 - 15, this is fairly manageable for one person but you've got to consider the return your looking for money wise. Remember, updated content definitely is a good idea and you don't want to accept the rubbish from one of the many content pushing services. Really you should be generating/writing/having written your own. You're also going to need to build some links to these sites, as that's when gets the "juice" flowing to your main site.

Are you going to look to have the blogs ranked in their own right, or simply to add links to for your money sites for SEO purposes?

If your thinking latter - please understand there is much more to a private blog network than just building some static sites and posting links - you're MUCH better off buying some good links on established sites. Much cheaper.

Building a decent private blog network requires a good amount of capital, and you've said this is not an option, so I won't elaborate.

If you've got limited funds, my advice would be to build EMD "feeder" sites with youtube video and a good purpose written 1000word minimum article. host it on your normal host don't worry about ip diversity. Put big banners leading people to your money site. You can always exchange links on this site for other webmasters to your money site building a nice 3way link.

Hope this helps,

I wouldn't waste my time building any web 2.0 and free sites, they don't pack much of a pinch in my opinion.

If you are serious about your online business then you won't regret investing on hi pr domains and multiple hosting accounts.

Web 2.0's still work bro

Try making some with good content, vids, images
and they can become your good backlinks in no time

Web 2.0's get very tricky because they get deleted a lot. I wouldn't put too much stock in them. You'll find that you'll spend 3 months getting them to have really strong PR and them BAM a few get deleted because the spam filters picked up on something. I prefer to use web 2.0's as a 2nd tier option and just go for bulk rather then quality.

Web 2.0s are great if you are serious with them! Like - adding unique content, related images and videos. Though some of the web 2.0s nowadays get suspicious if you send too many links to them in a little time and they will shut your account down!! So, better be careful about that!

Btw, nice avatar ;)

Why not spend a few bucks and buy a domain and hosting? If you're serious, spend that time and effort on your own sites rather than on pages that might get deleted.

I've tested them and have found literally 0 ranking changes. You might have tested and got different results, but I haven't seen any results on two easy EMD's I tested web 2.0's on.
