Hi,

I need to set up a LTD company in the UK for my new SEO company.

Can you tell me the BEST PLACE to go about doing this, whether online or offl?

I've looked about and there's various prices.

Thanks!

Setting up a Limited company is not something to take lightly, it seems as if you need to do ALOT more research into doing this, there is alot of legal things you need to understand. Asking on a forum is not really the right place.

Yeah I think going with a formations company is the easiest, and the cashback is nice, although be prepared to get a lot of 'spam' mail.

If you have employees, there's a lot of research you need to do though and as horrible as the direct.gov website is you'll need to spend a lot of time on it.

If you have any problems get an accountant. It's not too much trouble to set up a LTD company. I have 3 Private Limited companies registered all within SEO. Just make sure you choose the right company type for tax reasons.

If I was you, I would get 20 friends/family and give them 0.00001% of your company.

First you have to select the type of company.
Also name of the company is very important.
Also apply for Directors Identification Number and Digital Signatures.
Drafting of Memorandum and Articles of Association.
Stamping, digitally signing and e-filing of various documents with the Registrar.
Create payment system.
Also obtain certificate of company.
Obtaining the certificate of commencement of business.
