google penalty = pr drop?

i have two pr 5 experiencing a -30 / -50 penalty, and have , during this time experienced a n/a page rank. since when does google remove pr because of a penalty this is fucking bs

I have a - 50 penalty site but it dropped from pr3 to pr2 and all inner pages went to pr0

PR and ranking penalties are often unrelated.

I have never seen any of my penalized sites lose their PR after. Though, my sites have been penalized, deindexed and then as a cause of being deindexed lost their PR.

Make sure you aren't deindexed.

do you sell links on your website? I know google reduces pr of pages they have caught selling links

my sites aren't deindexed.......................... yet. that was the first thing i checked. i know this to be true cause we lost 30 pr 4 on one of our blog networks due to deinxeing, another deadly thanks to gay google
