Hi people,

Like a week ago, I bought a 100 pr5+ profile links. 3 keywords.
Did this experiment with 1 new page/product on my ecommerce, just to see what happens. Let's call it product #A#.

First day: top #1 on the 3 keywords
First day (end of day): google dance, disappear at all
Day 2: google dance, disappeared.
Day 3: didnt checked...

Ok, then I start to work on my ecommerce again, and forget about the blast.

I have another product that I made online, with almost the same keywords of the product #A#. The only thing that differs is the SKU, lets call it product #B#.

My product pages, meta, titles, etc are almost the same pattern for each product. It help me rank well without backlinks, only internal backlinks do the job in 2 days... I spend like a year working on my ecommerce code to make it "almost perfect". Ok, that's is only a comment.

The funny/insight/doubt part:

10 days later, product #B# is ranked far well than product #A# in the keywords I blasted. And remember, I blasted product #A#, and product #B# I did nothing. Google find it by itself on my ecommerce. Product #B# is ranked top #1, until product #A# is now ranked only in second page...

What happenned? penalized? Still on google dance (I dont think so), or profile blasts arent good for this?

PS. it's a micro niche keywords. Competitors had no more than 5 backlinks to rank #1, and rank #3/#4/... doesnt have backlinks at all.

Anybody have a clue what happened? Cause I guess my website alone is better :)

I'm thinking to repeat the experiment doing less profile backlinks, like 5 to 10 only....

Google is very fickle and changes constantly. I'm sure there is a reason why this happened but by the time you get to the bottom of it you could have put 5 sites up. It's either concentrate on volume and seo as best as you know how and keep going and testing and going and testing, or build sites and analyse the ....
outta them only to find that it's a total ****-shoot anyway. I'd just work away and concentrate your efforts on getting more quality sites up.

I forget to say that my site is 6 years old, PR2.

I'm a google webmaster tool user, with 4500+ indexed pages and with 163 quality backlink domains (almost of these backlinks only poiting to my domain, not targeting any product or keyword).

PS. it's a micro niche keywords. Competitors had no more than 5 backlinks to rank #1, and rank #3/#4/... doesnt have backlinks at all.

so, why do you need huge profile blasts to try to rank? :)

It's an experiment. Never did any blast at all in the past. I'm trying to understand how blasts results I can have before blast another pages with some articles I really want to rank...

Fry a product page isnt the same that fry a real profit page, aren't? :)

I'm still a newbie and trying to figure out every little piece of work.
