If I install scrapebox on VPS then I will still require proxies?

If I install scrapebox on VPS then I will still require proxies? Sorry, I know you guys are expert but I purchased it just few days ago, and running it on my Laptop Core2Due with 2GB Ram and 50GB Hard. and I am using it with free proxies till now as I am doing testing and now I want to make it more power full tool. So please, guys few suggestions about it will help me.
So first question from me is If I pay for VPS will I still require proxies to purchase? or am I asking wrong question?

Makes no difference where you're running it Desktop / VPS / Private server if you want good results you'll need proxies to prevent getting blocked by Akismet and Google when scraping.

oh okie, So all I need is proxies as I am getting well good proxies from other sources as scrapebox sources are too much spammed already and waste if I use there free source. thanks.

There are numerous free proxy sites out there. Just go along on a google page and collect all the free source url's and then add them as sources in sb.
