Hide My Ass VPN or Premium Proxy For Scrapebox And Other IM Tools

Can someone please advise me if i should go for this "hide my ass premium service which goes for $24 and sends daily fresh proxy lists to my inbox" or hide my ass vpn which goes for $11.52 monthly for a VPN.

I actually need proxy for scrapebox and other IM tools for profile linking, article submission, web 2.0 creation tools and a others...

I just want to hide my real ip and i want to keep changing the ones i use for each task. Since i know little or nothing about how to use proxy well for software, i would need you guys advice on this.

Please let me know which one i should go for or a better recommendation. I already tried the search button but i just couldn't get a direct answer to my questions.

Thanks for the input, i just subscriped to strongvpn service today...i hope it is going to be good with them using it with scrapebox and other software...:)
 
Why would you use a VPN service with SB?

The whole idea is to have 500+ public proxies to do heavy lifting such as scraping and 10-50 private proxies for the actual spamming. HideMyAss VPN give you a single IP to use at any one time and you need to disconnect and reconnect (which can take 20-40 seconds) to get a new IP.

With a minute of harvesting you IP will be used up and you will have to stop. You will get a few thousand URLs at most and since you cannot pause a harvest you will never be able to get many URLs. As for the actual posting of spam you will find the VPN near useless for large spam attempts. You will be banned quickly by akismet. You can pause the blog commenting, change your IP and then come back to it but this would be extremely time consuming.

Not to mention that HideMyAss will ask you to stop if you spam with their IPs.

You do not want to use a VPN with SB. That is not what VPNs are for! Get a refund and get yourself some private proxies.

Thanks MaxTucket for your contribution. What private proxies do you recommend at a good price. I am a little tight in cash and would want to go for the fairly best one at good price.

i didn't use hidemyass for scrapebox, but they did shut me down after they got a spam complaint...

I do not share my source for proxies as I do not want them to be saturated with SB spammers. However, there are plenty of good ones in the proxy forum here on BHW...

ive never used private proxies before but just from reading the forum it seems like mrtornado and texacola are the two most popular sellers of private proxies. try checking them out

I was wondering why would need 500 public proxies for scraping? Is it used for other functions besides scraping?

How many public proxies would you recommend for running 2 campaigns a day?

How many private proxies would you recommend for running 2 campaigns for trackbacks and mass commenting a day?
