seriously considering xrumer blast on totally white hat site

Ok so 2 months ago I hired someone on one of those freelance sites to SEO my white hat site (my real business's website).

Anyways, 2 months later and not only have I not improved in the rankings, but I have dropped. I am tired of waiting! I am tired of losing customers to my competitors who come up higher than me. I am considering doing something that I thought I would never do on my site: order an xrumer blast.

Is this a good idea?

If you're really nervous about it you can always make a second tier site and blast that one.

Bartman, Blasting is good, but you need to use it the right way! You should try other methods to build various kind of backlinks: directory, high PR profile or blog commenting...

is your niche competitive? ie a niche that is reviewed often and manually by google? if not blast away. If you in an uncompteitive niche then a small blast can do wonders. Heavily competitive niches are much harder to get working but not impossible!!

you can remove any keyword you don't want that website to have...

although there MIGHT be some left over spam websites..... most are going to be legit...

I would personally say use scrapebox instead of xrumer, only because: You can find highly relevant links & high PR links and manually comment them & then bookmark/ping them for indexing. I think this would give you the much needed boost you need rather than blasting out 10k profiles and risking it all. Also can be used to find non-spammed .edu links and .gov links too

Anyways good luck with your site man, hope you get up to number 1!
