I am trying to build a list, but in the backlink checker I keep getting a LOT of Reading: 10203... then it goes straight to "0 Error Timeout". How can I cut down on this? Is it a proxy problem?

I have just started using some private proxies today (had been using public ones from Scrapebox and others in the past). I have noticed a HUGE difference in speed and big reduction in errors that I have been getting in the past (assumably from poor proxies).

I don't know if your guess that proxies may be a contributing factor or not, but I would think it is a strong possibility.

How is it that scrapebox backlink checker finds all the nofollow backlinks?

Thanks,

Jacko

I assume that you are just kidding...? SB obviously doesn't care what the links are. It just extracts them.

nofollow is something telling the engine's crawlers to not follow that hyperlink. scrapebox doesn't care.

i'm using proxylist.co which is just checked public proxy's, maybe next month i'll see if i can get on some private proxies if i find them at a suitable price for my budget.

any better than SB's harvested provies?

it's still public proxies, but they have people testing them and updating every 15 min or so, so instead of testing 15k proxies for a few good ones taking up all that time, the dirty work is done for you.

still worse than private proxies I'm sure, well obviously since i'm seeing a few errors. But definitely better than scraping and definitely worth the money.
