If you're an active FB user, I think most of you have stumbled upon these websites that promote gateway offers, suggesting controversial issues in order to attract FB users to 'Like' their site.

They post *cough* spam *cough* links on FB pages to generate traffic, and... well, you get the idea.

But one site that got my attention is, in order to proceed to their 'download report here' page, visitor has to copy a pre-written wall message and paste it to, say, 3 FB pages wall.

(Don't ask me what's the website's address here cuz it's against forum rules)

Is there a script/tool to detect if a message/text has been copy-pasted into a certain wall/website?

This has actually been around for a while now. They can't actually tell if it's been pasted. There's usually an animated gif that says it's checking if the user is done but it's just an image. There should be another link that says "Tired of waiting? Click here to get it now!" where they will then fill out a survey.

EDIT: BTW if you want the code for it just go to one of those pages and click View->Page Source. Copy it and voila! Just change the title, images, etc... and upload it.

Yes, you're right, and the scenario goes as you describe it.

I've plowed into the source code already the other day but can't find the script they're using. I just thought it's placed in a css or sumthin.

I suspect it's an animated gif trick too, but just want to make sure if there's a script created to detect this stuff, well, you'd have a virus in your hand ready to spread like a wild fire

i invented this 'script' and there is no way of verifying if the posts were made. It relies on tricking to user into thinking there is an algorithm capable of detecting if such posts were made because many will test the supposed algo by clicking to reveal the content before making the posts.
