Force yourself to either:

a) Put a set amount of money in a bank account that you can't spend

b) Put away say 50% of all of your earnings into a bank account that you can't spend

Then at the end in a few years time you will have a nice stash. It works for me, I force myself to put away a minimum of 1000£ per month.
