Re: Did You Have Help Getting Started Online?
Absolutely, although the people who did it probably don't even realize it. Here are a few names who've helped me. For the record, combined I've only ever PM'd with half of these folks and then maybe 10 PMs total; they're busy and I don't want to pester the shit out of them.
The help they gave was just mainly in the reading between the lines of their posts here.:
EssentialClix
Havokb8
Montyzpython
Uptownbulker.
Diamond Dave
Apekillape
Oldenstylehats
Nick Flame
gts6
Wealthy199
Rambo
Artswerdstone
hmmm I'm starting to see a pattern here...
Non-executives who've helped:
themagician
tomlilah
madinaz
stumickle
prideoflions
Sorry if I misspelled anyone or anything. Just off the top of my head I can think of individual posts or attitudes or something that each of these people has shared here, in the open, that have helped me get this far without opening up a vein in frustration.
From other sites:
Ruck
Nickycakes
Eli
Um... that's pretty much it actually, at least as far as practical, straight up advice goes.
Personal, one on one, mentor type help? Not really. I'm a blackhat (well black-bonnet anyway), but I don't really have anything to offer any of these folks yet in return for their help. My sense of honor (laugh if you want but fuck you if you have none) won't let me bug them. I'm still enduring my growing pains and learning the basics.
I'm up to mid $xxx a month (well not last month, but fluctuations happen right). I figure when I'm at $xx,xxx I'll have some stuff to offer and might be able to join the big-people club. Until then, keep chugging along.
Thanks for this post Coreygeer. Sometimes in my frustration I forget to be grateful. You reminded me.
